Street Plunger Rod Fighter

Lloyd,

I bought my first machine, Street Fighter 2, and I'm having a problem launching the ball consistently. I'm wondering if I'll have to replace the the shooter rod or if it is an easy fix. It really effects the timing of the skill shot and sometimes when the ball launches, it does not always make it up the ramp at all. I know it could be mechanical, but it seems like the ball is hitting the lip of the ramp on the way up. It is putting a lot of wear on the shooter tip which I already replaced once but is worn again- although I may have installed it wrong.

Thanks for any help,

Rocky

Hi Rocky

A lot of wear on the shooter tip is the clue. Not hitting the ball dead center, or striking part of the apron when shot. Inside the game the shooter rod assembly is held on by three screws, easy to loosen and adjust as needed.

Thank you,

LTG : )
