Quoted from ImNotNorm:I ordered an alternate translate last week. Hopefully It brings me some luck as well
Where did you order the alternate translate from?
Quoted from Chitownpinball:Nice! Whered you get that?
It's actually the Wii Amiibo. Cut the bottom stand off of him and glued him to the Bumper.
I have this 12 inch Ryu figure I got with my Street fighter 5 collectors edition. I want to use it as a topper. It will look pretty good on top of the pin. My problem is it's pretty substantial and I want to secure it properly because if is falls off it will shatter the glass. never added a topper before and wondering how the best way to secure it properly so it won't fall.
Putting some LEDs into my SFII pin. First time doing LEDs. I think I like the outcome. A little more tweaking to do and then it will be good.
before and after.
Realized after the pictures were taken that before LED had lights in the room on. other didn't.
Quoted from Chitownpinball:Ya im not a fan. All the GI should be warm white. The inserts can be cool, but the GI definitely needs warm.
I have whites too. haven't tired them out yet. Like I said it's my first time so experimenting with colours etc. I'll try the whites and see how it looks. Thought the blues might look nice. Maybe the white will surprise me. I used blues in the inserts for the character names which do look nice. Maybe blue overkill.
Thanks for the tips guys.
Quoted from ImNotNorm:Make it three so far
Any other takers?
I emailed him about a set as well. haven't ordered yet so if it's still open I will be #4 for a set.
Quoted from Boat:FYI I msg'd cliffy a few weeks back and he said he had an unpopulated playfield for SF2 . He said he was working on new protectors for other areas and possibly a shooter lane one. Maybe follow up as there would be interes in that
He mentioned that this week to me as well. Also said he was about 3 weeks behind. Must be a busy guy doing this all himself.
Quoted from Edenecho:Paid around 60usd for sf2 prots, rbion 3piece protector set plus shipping to norway, would assume the sf2 set is around 30 usd..
He quotes me $37 US shipped for a single order. Maybe better prices with the group buy.
Quoted from Edenecho:Thanks!
What is the physical difference when playing?
I made the mistake of putting superbands into mine. they are a little wider than the groove in the flipper bats. When I played the balls kept going airborne so I had to put the old ones back on. I think you need to make sure they fit in the groove on the flipper.
I just gotta say that the Guile shot has to be one of the most satisfying shots when you hit it cleanly.
Especially when it's for 300,000,000!!
Quoted from statictrance:Protip - Leave one of the easy shots for last - then that one becomes re-makeable for 300m until you end your multiball. Hello Billions of points.
I have been trying that but either the ball drains or the sling shots or rebounds hit the easy jackpot inadvertently.
Still love that Guile shot though!
Walked up to my machine and nailed the 300,000,000 and beat the champion challenge for 500,000,000 first time for me with the champion challenge. Broke 1 Billion.
Quoted from psychopat:Does Cliffy make the protector for the Sagat hole yet? thats the only one I m missing.
Want to see about a double order? I am in Ottawa too. we could split the shipping
Quoted from psychopat:sure! I up for that. You need a full set or just the Sagat hole protector too?
I need a full set.
Added a couple of more toys to my SF2 yesterday. tried to strategically place them near their shots without blocking any of the art on the plastics or anything. I think they look good. Just wish Ken was in traditional red.
