I believe what you are referring to is residue from the new rubbers. Wipe those off with some CP-100 or you can try with the naphtha you already have as I think CP-100 is naphtha with other additives.

Sorry wiping the rubbers did not work. I’ve had something similar happen and cleaning the rubbers took care of it. Your issue has nothing to to do with EM vs SS...you are picking up residue from somewhere. Try holding the ball with your hand and rubbing it on the new rubbers to see if you get the streaks???
