Quoted from yfz450:Divorce papers in my Firepower.
i guess that could have been a good thing???? lmao, dont think anyone will top that one
Just yesterday I found some CDs from 1998 that were recorded for a radio broadcast. They said destroy after use on them. Guess they weren't.
During a warehouse buy, my friend found over $2000 in a pool ball box. We gave it back to the OP. He was very pleased.
I was looking at a Stern Magic, and I "found" a bunch of circuit cards behind the backglass. At least to the seller it was a surprise. He had the game for 7 years and never knew they were there.
Jason
Stern were nice enough to leave me a nice pair of wire strippers in my Transformers LE ...
Score!

I found an antique double barrel shotgun in my Gorgar when I got it out of storage.
Thing is, I put it in there years before. I wondered where it had gone!
The strangest thing I ever found in a pinball machine........?? THE MANUAL !!

I just recently found an Adam and Eve catalog from the early 90's along with some industrial push button. There is something else under the relay board shaking around. I gotta pull it off and see.
Cigarette butts all crammed up in a corner inside the cab of my MIBS. Not quite as strange as divorce papers....
i found a glass pot pipe in my fresh off the route funhouse, i still need to call the op and ask him if he is missing anything. lol. i left it in there. you never know.
Cd....had to throw it in and see what was on it. Turned out it was naked pictures of his wife which i had to flip through the album. All was good until the last pic when he turned the camera on himself. Cd quickly hit the trash! Everyone laughs at that story including the wife.
A chicken wishbone, a game ROM from another game, and a pony tail holder, all under the top arch of the same game.

I have found several things over the years, the last thing was really really old bottle of chocolate milk

Quoted from SchertzPinball:I found a corn cob in my Spin A Card today. Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmm.
In a thread on KLOV several people report (and show) that they've found dildos in arcade machines.
I guess some folks just use what's handy.

If you think about it, these machines make convenient lock boxes. I've heard lots of stories about weed and smut in games with lost keys.
I've never found anything good. I'm lucky if all the boards are there.

I was going to mention that as well. That picture of the dildo in the arcade cab comes up about once a month on KLOV it seems.
Reading glasses
Bags of pot
Porn mags
Roll of solder
Ton of tokens from arcades I've never heard of
Receipts from parts bought long ago
Lipstick
Plastic dinosaurs
Manual to Galaga
Quoted from rancegt:I've never found anything good. I'm lucky if all the boards are there.
I lied. The 1997 Price Guide I have was inside an old EM, and that's pretty cool.
Not too much special things inside pinball machines unfortunately.
But the few arcade machines I've bought were better, one had a flare (for rescue when you're on sea) and a porn mag inside. Another still had a full coin box, unfortunately still belgian franks (about $125 worth in value) but as was had converted to euro currency I couldn't exchange them anymore..

That'd be awesome if I ever found something like that. I've got a pretty serious collection of arcade specific tokens. Namely only the ones I've visited, but I wouldn't mind expanding it. I take donations.....
Quoted from Miguel351:I take donations.....
I'm sure I've still got a ton in some coinbags somewhere in my polebarn.
I'm not at home this weekend, but when I find them they are yours for the price of shipping.
Priority mail boxes say "If it fits, it ships" so we can see how many pounds of tokens fills each box.

Done!
Old power supplies, Roms, buttons, quarters, household fans, batteries, Manuals for other games, zip ties, light bulbs, extra boards, bag of weed, business cards, tokens, CD's, written note on what was wrong with the machine currently =) , instruction cards, random parts.
And most of all DIRT DIRT DIRT
This list above also includes arcade machines the things you find in them.
While not a pinball machine, I did find $34 in quarters in the bottom of an arcade machine I was repairing for a customer.
Quoted from Firebaall:I've found bizarrely broken pool table cues in at least 2 of my machines.
Quoted from epeabs:I also found a broken in half pool cue in my BK2K.
Maybe they were used to prop the playfield up when being worked on?

Ha! Wifebeater tool from a different thread!
Got my RS to find that the coin door mechanism was all jammed up. The first time I opened the door, about $5 in quarters came pouring out, along with about 5 Chuck E. Cheese arcade tokens. Not sure what exactly was going on there. But definitely not as weird as some of these on here!
