I'll likely sell my LE now unless a fix comes up soon. Too many people seem to have had their projector crap out for me to take a chance. And since God hates me, my odds are pretty good that it'll happen.

Just not very practical to upgrade a pro to use a projector. it's expensive and to make a difficult job a bit less difficult, you need the original projector (and a lot of other expensive stuff.) but the major obstacle is the discontinued projector. Yes the M4 replacement can work. But that means custom mounting brackets have to be made. and it projects player-side-left instead of player-side-right (only the s6000 projects player-side-right, no other compact projector does that.) So it gets even more complicated with that, with not only custom mounting brackets, but also modifying the ball arch because the position of the lens on the projector. then there's the issue with fooling the game to think it's a premium so it will run the projector, not to mention the wiring and modifying the ball trough metal and the projector power supply... The whole thing is complex and expensive, but do-able.

Figure when I do look to get rid of the machine I’ll likely give the buyer the option of buying the spare kit at cost or easily sell it otherwise at cost + shipping. I’d definitely do the same with the projector if I had a Premium. Wouldn’t want to deal with the alternative otherwise if and when it goes bad.
And when they have gone bad it hasn’t seemed like it’s been due to (the eventual expected) failure of the bulb or whatever projection source it is in there.
