Just curious, what is breaking in the projector? If someone has a broken one I might be interested in taking it apart to see if it can be repaired. Both the light source and power supply seem fairly straight forward repair wise to me.

Quoted from KingVidiot:This is exactly what I was saying in the stranger things thread.
In the OLED world, it’s almost exclusively LG making panels. Sony, Vizio, Panasonic, Samsung, etc. they all use LG OLED panels.
I’m guessing micro projectors are mostly the same deal - one company making all of the actual optics and LEDs. So if one burns out, simply buy another similar one and swap out the key components.
I don't have any skin in the game because I don't own one of these. At high level it seems like a easy repair and likely cheap. Once it is documented there is no need for buying a spare unit. The prices being tossed around sound crazy high.
Quoted from jake35:the fan has failed in a few and it burns them up.
That makes me think it is repairable. If someone wants to send me a broken oneI I can try to come up with a solution. PM me if you have a donor unit. No harm in trying.
