Quoted from Insanity199:

I can make mine rather regularly. Definitely not 5 of 6 from a trap, but I have made the shot almost every game once, sometimes more. I did lower my flipper power to the 240s range and have my playfield around 6.5-6.7 degrees. I would like it to be more consistent, but then again, I am not sure it should be a gimme either.
I am probably just going to leave it and see how it does over the longer term. I really only had an hour or so on the machine.
Taking the plunge into installing the Premium UV kit on my pro this weekend. RC_like_the_cola, thanks for the info on the 2 playfield bracket screws that I will need.

Are you talking about these brackets for installing a Premium UV apron on a Pro? https://www.pinballlife.com/stern-arch-retainer-bracket.html

Quoted from RC_like_the_cola:

No, that is the old mounting for metal aprons. You will need 2 of these screws or some other #10 screws, but the head can't protrude too much or you can't seat the playfield.

Perfect, thanks so much!

Quoted from Insanity199:

Can’t you just install the QR reader on your existing premium UV apron? I have the premium UV kit and apron on my pro and just mounted the reader in the UV apron with no problems. The issue you are having is probably why the UV apron has the QR reader opening in a different place. [quoted image]

Has anyone figured out a rule/apron card to use for the QR reader space yet?

Quoted from blizz81:

With the QR reader installed? Stern's got you covered with some great art!
Really it feels like the reader takes up so much space that I can't imagine art just using the surrounding space could look all that great - that's why I'm going to move to the coin door (and then use one of the custom apron cards for the premium card spot). But I'm also not very creative / imaginative at art stuff.
[quoted image]

Sorry, I meant one specific for the right pricing card spot on the Premium UV apron, which is where the QR reader is located instead of the upper right triangle like it is on the Pro. For those with Premium UV aprons and Insider QR scanners, see if this will fit that spot. I'm hoping someone comes up with a more elegant solution soon but this should work for now.

I've read through a lot of the posts regarding the left orbit feed hitting the left sling, but wanted to see if there was ever a definitive fix that didn't involve bending or relocating the ball guide. My Pro was from the December run and it seems to have the same issue as others where the kick out from the mystery lock coming down the left orbit hits the left sling about 80% of the time. I've tried multiple different slopes, completely level left and right, left leaning, right leaning and no matter what, I can't get it to feed down to the left flipper consistently.

Did everyone just end up bending their left ball guides or drilling new holes for the screws securing the end of the ball guide to direct it more towards the middle of the playfield and away from the left sling?

Probably a long shot, but does anyone have an unpopulated Stranger Things playfield and ideally, access to an HP 4670 scanner? Like others, I've developed a chip on the clear coat by the saucer and reached out to Cliff to see if he had a protector for that. He's planning to make a carbon fiber protector for the saucer if he can get a tracing or scan of the playfield in that area, which would likely be a pretty useful part for all current owners given the wear and tear it experiences.
