Got my first few plays and love it! But already found an bug?
1: Ball keep hanging behind the letter popups in the middle. Whenball stuck kicks in i can play again. Had this two times already.
2: Space between the screen, easy fix?

Put the game in switch test, and make sure the drop target opto is registering. If it is not, that is your problem. If it is, pay attention to the name of the opto... It should say something with "drop target" in the name. If it says "screen opto" or something like that, you need to lift the playfield and switch the two opto connectors. Stern labeled them for you, and probably just reversed them at the factory. They are really close together, and use the same type of plug.
Thnx chuckwurt
Opto is working fine. Think it was my pf protector... Removed the whole protector because i had more problems with it. Without it plays great! But I noticed two other things;
1: 1 drop stays up even when i hit it hard to front side. The other 3 drops were down. Next hit it and came down... Had this couple times. What could this be?
2: shakermotor is not strong comparing with an jp2. Setting is set to maximum.
Thnx
Quoted from coasterguy:So why do so many think this game is lame? I honestly don't get that. Oh well
I suspect they haven't played on it. This is a fantastic pinball game and should have bought it much sooner
Looking for the interactive arcade sign with light in it. Where to get this? Mezel dindt respond (yet) when of if it's coming back...
Quoted from chuckwurt:Adjust the tension arm on that gate one way or the other and see if that helps.
Do you mean bend the side or up
Quoted from chuckwurt:There’s an arm or a blade on it to supply tension to the gate wire so it closes right away after the ball passes through. Adjust that.
Yes, i see what you mean but there is nothing to do about this only to bend it up a little... otherwise it will get smoother with time I hope
Quoted from C0untDeM0net:I've got the titan glow on my flippers and slings and love it. Takes some getting used to.
Where you bought them?
Quoted from tp:Not sure anything changed.
Just know that mine had all the fixes from factory with that born on date.
What fixes if i may ask? Got an list? Mine in from Jan 2020 to..
Quoted from nicoy3k:so i've decided to do the right thing and actually go to my distributor to play both Sth and maiden before buying one. Ill let you know if I'm in the club tomorrow!
Both are great machines but like sth more then im!
Quoted from palacekeeper:Were you able to adjust the gate tension? Mine is doing the same thing, but in looking at it from the top, I don't see where to make the adjustment. I guess that likely means removing stuff again
Ive bend the metal tab up, hard to see but you can feel it. This tab push the gate down. Thanks to chuckwurt and it has not occurred again.
Had to cut away the playfield protector, plays so much better now. But in the middle i have a lot of dimples now because the air balls... Best thing is do to nothing about this i guess? Or should i fill this up with some kind of transparant resin?
Quoted from Morgoth00:Double sided gel tape is a typical tool used to secure it. If you buy the camaro mod, it comes attached to a 3d printed base with a mounting hole. The pre-made Blazer and camaro mods also have the Led lights and headlights

Here's where I mounted mine
[quoted image][quoted image]
Nice! Today i bought hopper’s chevy 1:32 jada toys. Any idea how to mount this car? Thought doublesize tape but maybe there is an better way?
Quoted from chuckwurt:Not a common issue unless your game doesn’t have the cover on the ramp. The switch should resister every time.
Yes, cover is on ramp...
Quoted from chuckwurt:Then I would make sure the Opto is positioned right and is not loose. It shouldn’t be possible for the ball to jump the opto.
Think it is good. The red flash didn't always blink when the ball goes through but saw combos on the screen every time... So think its normal that not everytime the ball goes to the right ramp makes sound and light right?
Still the right ramp is not registering every ball, opto seems fine... 7 of 10 times it works fine... What must i do?
is it true that the red flasher does not always light up in certain chapters and nothing happens on the LCD screen when it pass the opto? It seems that in the beginning all balls registers and red flasher light up but at some point no longer in certain game chapters...
What do you guys mean exactly with the tk lock? Sometimes have a ball relapse on the left ramp. Hear the metal pin doing something, but the ball is already on its way back and goes immediately between the flippers. Is this just bad luck or does this have something to do with tk lock?
Locks magnet works fine.
Quoted from chuckwurt:TK lock=magnet lock on the backboard
Thnx for ur reply. So is it normal for the ball to come back sometimes when it is a good shot? Don't understand why the metal pin makes a noise at that time?
Quoted from chuckwurt:Sorry I don’t know what you’re taking about. The ball should never come back down the ramp unless you hit too weak of a shot or miss the shot.
Bit hard to explain... But for my understanding, does the metal pin in ramp do something at all?
Quoted from chuckwurt:What metal pin in the ramp? The director arm? Yes that engages and allows the balls to travel to the magnet on the backboard.
It will only engage when lock is lit, or when a previous lock missed (you were awarded a virtual lock) and you shoot the ramp later when lock is unlit.
Yes, i mean the director arm. This makes an bit high mechanical noise sometimes right?
About the plunger, some have the original stern back on stock. Ive installed it today, really nice! The only thing is that the two leds are very loose, even when the black rings backside are sitting well...
Quoted from chuckwurt:Take the mods out. .
I use cabinet silicone bumpers all the time to help avoid ball traps. They might help you here too.
Those silicone rubbers are too small. I'm looking for some kind of posts so to speak we call it here "amsterdammertje" like the picture below but so far I haven't been able to find anything...
amsterdammertje_opnieuw_geschilderd (resized).jpgQuoted from Lilpro66:That piece is part of the center ramp
Pivot point on the ramp.
Ehmm, my distrb also says “On the motor arm for the center ramp” but it seems not to be it? Or does i look at the wrong place?

Quoted from Mbecker:That’s not it, right where you circled? Looks like it to me, the nut that screw screws into??
Yes it’s the same screw but that’s not it.. Ramparm is fine in the up and down world so hope my distributor have some answers next week.
Quoted from C0untDeM0net:Yes, it makes it easier to get that plastic off. There is a shorter one on the other side as well.
Don’t understand. This doenst hold any plastic off? Otherside havent got one.

Is that area visible in this picture?[quoted image]
Space between the main and side screens are different. I have the same, is there some way to ajust this space? Fast look doenst show an solution…

Yes, shaker is a must in every game
Quoted from chuckwurt:Change the speed and strength with which you plunge. Should be able to hit all but the furthest right drop target off the plunge. You want to hit the middle two at the same time to get the right angle on the saucer.
My game was setup steep too. Maybe that changes things as well.
It’s also easier to make the mkv shot with de STh shooter rod instead of the standard one in my experience.
Quoted from SonOfaDiddly:i mean, the life expectancy is 20,000 hours which is roughly 400,000 games at a game every 3 minutes but the fact that right now there is no replacement if something happens to the projector makes me very nervous
So part number 509-2009-00 we should stock? Will stern get this back in stock? I mean, here in EU it’s law you must deliver parts for around 10 years.
Quoted from Utesichiban:I am going to add Running Up That Hill to Get Me Out mode and see if it works.
Yes, i also would like;
- You spin me round (like a record)
- Play with me (extreme) during multiball!
Quoted from SonOfaDiddly:the projector and tk lock are both amazing, one of a kind features worth dialing in.
the one and only thing i really don't miss about owning STh is the ninety minute game times if you were going for a high score. other than that the game is 100% the real deal, complete package, one of the best modern sterns without a doubt.
Don’t forget the uv lightning! Game is good but GZ, JP, Mando and Deadpool feels more complete to me…
Quoted from SonOfaDiddly:Mando is complete because there's is nothing in it. Deadpool is a little better and JP seems interminable.
STh has like thirty modes, two mini wizards and a wizard. It's complete
Mando is very good, more then enough to do and an great atmosphere. JP is interminable? You make it sound it’s a bad thing but it’s an great game. Stranger things is good but, but almost all other recent stern games are better.
Quoted from Thor_Odinson:I dont have a ST but the theme is cool. My issue is watching the videos it looks like an air ball monster, especially hitting the stand up targets up the middle and the ramp / ball not getting into the mouth. The UV and everything else looks so cool though.
Yes, much airballs. UV kit is cool, but when you play the upside down it’s kinda boring imo. Hope future updates brings more to this mode..
