Finally found an le man that was hard . Got a topper and shooter rod coming too , hopefully I find that uv kit

What's done is done. Fixing the issues will teach you more about pinball than you ever thought possible. So, don't dwell on the past and enjoy it.

Finally about to unbox my LE, so excited! had to clean out my storage room for more space. I think I literally killed like 500 spiders.. all set for Stranger things !
Man this game is awesome in the dark , I don’t care what other people say stern makes some cool ass games
Ok I just saw my first ball cling to the wall for ball lock .. wow ! Awesome ! This game rocks so far !
So Ive played the game maybe 5-6 times so far, I love it.. but I haven't noticed jack crap on the ramps, does it actually project something because I haven't seen anything.
Man my left flipper is all messed up, its like higher then it should be and doesnt go back to normal position. I havent really worked on a flipper before, anyone have any tips or a video or something?

Thanks for the post, I saw only one left and decided to go for it, I dont know if they are making more or not.
Just finished installing topper and shooter rod. I wish Stern provided better instructions on shooter rod, I forgot to transfer the rubber piece to the new rod, and luckily Ive been through this before so knew where to plug it in for the lighting effect
Hey does anyone elses projector stop working when you open the coin door and not work again until rebooting the machine? Is this a known bug?

Everything was going great with my machine but now the projector doesn't work unless I reboot the machine, and last night the ball lock didn't work. It held the ball but then went into search mode. Thats fantastic!
Hey guys my tk lock was working great it still does , and sticks to the wall great but it just doesn’t register then goes into ball search mode . I put in a ticket to stern anyone have any ideas ?
Some opto issue simple thing I hope ?

Fixed ! I think the power cord in the back box which deals with these optos was loose ! Thanks man ! Now I can sleep tonite.. time to get the uv kit installed !
So installed uv kit no go . I tested it in lamp menu doesn’t do anything I have no idea what I did wrong , anyone have any tips that they went through ? That board is getting power it turns red and the apron lights up .. weird

Yes I made a mistake and missed the two small connectors on the power board that come from the playfield all good now !

Only thing I’m kind of bummed is I tried to replace the new uv aprons plaque with the signed one from Brian eddy , but it wouldn’t fit 
Also everything works great, but now my ball lock optos arent getting power again. I looked at the manual but anyone have any ideas where the power to this opto comes from? It says CN 12, but that is the topper jack.

Never mind again the power connector is clearly labeled backboard opto and was loose . At way back and bottom of playfield

another question: am I going to fuck up the apron decals if i try to transfer the signed one to the UV one?
I tried doing that, it doesn't fit, unless someone has a way around it. The LE signed plastic does not fit in the same space as the UV plastic piece. The UV one has this wire that comes out and takes up room thus you need to shave like a few mms off the signed one.
Please prove me wrong.

Take the signed insert off the LE stock apron and put it on the UV kit apron. Easy peasy. That’s what I did on mine.
Weird mine wouldn’t fit . I tried the uv le apron insert has a cut in it to fit it right . Guess I’ll have to look at it again
Finally showed my pinball collection to my cousins. They were very impressed with Stranger Things over any other game I had especially when the Demogorgon showed up. After killing it my cousin was still shaking for a few minutes, like it was too much for him to take or something.

When you guys transferred the Brian eddy signiature plastic to the uv le apron did you also use that clear plastic protector on top ?

Nevermind I answered my own question, I left the plastic protector on top. FYI for anyone doing this, I had to remove the LED strip light to get the signed plastic piece onto the three screw mounts, then put the LED strip back on

My left ramp targets keep falling off, so I contacted stern. Machine is not even 1 year old and they told me it was out of warranty so shit out of luck. I never had stern say anything about warranty in my past 4-5 years of collecting pinball machines until now.
