If the pro has the holes in the playfield, it should work. I was under the impression the pro had no holes.

I thought the mounting hardware was different also.
Just taking a wild guess here but if there aren't holes, last time I checked it was fairly easy to add holes to wood. Haha, with all the mods and creative fixes this community has found ways to implement on games there is no way that someone won't figure out how to chance the aprons.

Absolutely. But many folks just want to screw the kit in and play pinball. Getting out a drill isn't something everyone should do.
Yes I added the two small front plates for the metal apron with new holes, and removed the posts the pkastic apron had.
Now Im wondering about the projector hole if it is an issue?
The metal one also has two screws that attach to the lockdown bar hooks. Does the pro have those too?

Can you take a pic for me so I can confirm or deny?
Quoted from Kharris:Is this what you mean?[quoted image]
Lift up the playfield. You should see two screws that attach the apron to these hooks.

Quoted from TKDalumni:UV kit is badass but it 1000% should’ve been installed from factory. Straight forward directions or not. You tear half the game down and add a board, etc.
Regardless, I can’t stop pressing start! [quoted image]
Whoa... what are those rubbers?!

Glow in the dark from Titan they are uv reactive
Are you sure we can put the metal apron on the pro ? is its true, i will change my order... Someone has tested ?
Quoted from Dr-Willy:Glow in the dark from Titan they are uv reactive
What he said..
Quoted from Tsskinne:Robert is sending me the apron. I’ll test it on the pro.
Nice! If it's a possibility it makes sense to get the metal one if you were getting the UV kit anyways.
Played some ST tonight. Had some fun with it but still can’t get the TK multiball lock to work.
Left ramp is a currently a complete wildcard behavior wise. Sometimes deflecting the ball. Sometimes sticking it. Never locking it. So it's hard to keep a good flow going. I’ll need to mess with it more this weekend because I’m “almost” having good games. I know this table is better than what I am currently getting out of it.
I also want to mod it up. It needs some Demo dogs with glowing eyes above the small white ramp targets. (like the martians in AFM.) and they should react during demo dog mode.
I also was thinking it needs something over the demogorgon to keep deflected balls away from the glass.
I was thinking maybe a Steve character with the spiked baseball bat on top of it or something.
I can’t think of anything else but a giant sombrero which makes no sense in the context of the game.
got my UV kit installed,. . . the lights and UV paint look great, but is anyone else a little disappointed in the plastics? mine seem to be real dull looking and look very worn around the edges and mounting holes. The plastics i removed were perfect and very shiny. Is this due to the uv paint needed? i would imagine that even if they needed a dull finish, i wouldnt see the imperfections that i do. I will post pics in the morning.

Almost looks like they still have the protective plastic layer still on them? But I'm sure you checked that. Hmm

The plastic layer is still on the pieces. Peal it off and they will look shiny. I just installed my UV kit on my LE tonight. Huge difference !!! Love it!!!
Well, I can officially join the UV kit club now as well. Blown away by it. Nice, easy install. Less than an hour. Not sure what all the fuss is about regarding the ramps. The install was super easy. Anyway, here are my obligatory pics. Loving it.

Awesome looking place there man!
Quoted from chuckwurt:Take the plastic coating off. Haha
thanks guys. Maybe next time i shouldn't install after midnight and a few drinks
Just finished the UV Kit install as well. I'll spare everyone pics but it wasn't bad at all. The most time consuming part for me was getting the protective cover off the plastics lol. Shouldn't have trimmed my nails last night I guess.
Oh yeah! while I had the plastics off I adjusted the ball guide on the left orbit. With the plastics off getting at the two screws are easy to get at. My ball guide was originally nearly touching the 'E' demodog target. With those two playfield mounting screws loosened you can adjust it quite a bit. Now coming out of the mystery it's feeding the flipper quite well. For those of you with the left orbit issue give that adjustment a try before you start bending things.
Quoted from dsmoke1986:So did Cointaker pull their UV Kit? I can't find it on their site.
dsmoke1986 > Just want to let you know that you have an excellent lineup. It's great to have three machines in a limited space that really compliment each other. All three are different in their own way, but incredibly entertaining. Though I have to sell one to swap out a machine that we desire, STh's, JP3 & GOTG will not be going anywhere anytime soon. Though you have already acquired the ideal lineup ~ dsmoke1986, I wish everyone else well in their pursuit of the perfect pinball collection.
Though I must admit in my humble confession, there are many here that have the dream gallery.
Quoted from Coz:A friend sent me this: I wonder if Stern and the American distributors will do the same? It would a nice act for the community.[quoted image]
The aussies get screwed on pretty much anything , so I’m happy for them. Haha.

This is true. I can’t believe anyone buys games over there at these prices haha.
Quoted from chuckwurt:Um.... what? Like installing for free or including with their NIB purchase?
the light kit and installation totally free, AMD are awesome.
Quoted from chuckwurt:This is true. I can’t believe anyone buys games over there at these prices haha.
If you want a certain new release game you have no choice but to pay the price for it. yes it does suck but that's life.
Quoted from MANTO1975:the light kit and installation totally free, AMD are awesome.
Well you officially have the best distro in the world then. Haha. Great to hear.
Have not followed every thread or pic but is the stern kit better/worth it more then the UV lighting leds that cointaker?
Yeah I haven’t seen any of the other options fully integrated but the stern kit is the way to go imo.
Not having the plastics would loose a lot of the punch of the kit. It's really quite something. I can't wait until it's more integrated with the modes. I've only seen it fully on during upside down and it flashes when in demogorgon mode. I was expecting it to be on for Save Will and Where's Barb but it wasn't
