The action button is clear so youd need to do something with the code to get it to change color right? Even if you changed to a colored translucent button the color would be off since it would still glow red underneath right, or is that a non issue?

Then I would say you have something internally broken with your projector. The wheel cannot move, yet you’re getting focus changes with coil fires.

I printed this mounting plate for my friend's Pro with a premium apron UV kit. I don't know if this is a one off thing for him or if other people have this issue of mounting the IC reader. This worked for him. I put a couple up in my PS shop if anyone would want one or you could make your own if you wish.

You could also switch the wires from RGB to a different order like BRG to get different colors, I suppose...

Projector is ok. I installed new screens from projector grade material and that improved it greatly. I did buy a spare projector and node board to have as spare. Yeah, I don't know why the cabinet was so filthy and had a snail, worm and spider in it. I scrubbed everything for hours after vacuuming out the cabinet. The playfield had some rough spots that were corrected by removing the mylar. Looks new now.

Removing or replacing the Mylar? Don’t leave those spots on the PF without Mylar protection!
Is anyone else having a problem downloading Cleland's recent code (Version 1.05)? The Balena site will not flash my scan disk SD card. I repeatedly get a message the flash has failed, even when it shows 100% complete. When trying to see the files, the message indicates the file is corrupted....??

Just ignore the message and put the SD card in your game and see if it works. Verify doesn't work because the directory structure is something a computer understands....it's Stern's own directory.

Nope. All he said is they would like to run it again at some point. People heard it as "we are re-running it now" and started calling their distribs. The distribs call Stern, Stern has to clarify.
Question.. ive had STh for a while now. Theres plenty of bricked shots off the drops with the drop target not dropping. I've always just dealt with it as part of the game. Recently we traded for a Bond and same bricked shots on the rocket drop targets. I clipped the Bond drop target springs, now zero bricked shots.. target always drop. Has anyone done that on their STh?

I think the reason why STh has so many bricked shots is that the flippers are grossly over-powered. I miss left ramp shots because the clear cover to help the TK lock stops the ball. I miss center hole shots because the ball is travelling too fast. I brick countless target shots because the ball is too fast. Even adjusted, the TK fails due to ball speed. I just turn it off (and TK magnetizes the ball so easily that it gets stuck in the metal trough under the left ramp". So many little things that Stern could have and should have improved on.
The slings are too powerful as well. With the outlanes wide open, they fire straight at the lanes with no chance to nudge.
Love the theme. Love the rules. But Stern seems to think over-powering everything is what makes a game "fast". It's wearing on me a bit and I never thought I would say that about this game.
You can change the power on almost every coil in the game. I get the occasional brick from the drops, but nothing more than I’d expect from a direct hit.

I have both flippers lowered to 230. They still make the TK lock and demogorgon shot and lower power means less heating up which reduces the flipper fade on long games.

By default, the burn it back extra ball auto adjusts based off how often it is awarded. I set mine to 12 and not auto adjust.
I'm assuming this is a common problem, but I just started noticing the mylar under the demogorgon ramp is getting chewed up. I don't thing it chewed into the playfield yet, but what did ya'll do? double or triple the mylar up? Should I remove the old one first or just add mylar to the existing one?

I just went over the top like Stallone. Shouldn't be an issue removing it though I'd think.
I replaced the stock Mylar at under 1000. Then I put new down, doubled it up, and didn’t replace it before selling at over 3k plays. Held up way better.

Modern mylar peels off rather easily. It's the old 80s 90s stuff that is a pain. While you are checking mylar - check the piece where the ball hits the playfield as it exits the left scoop. That can wear through too.
