What adjustments do you need to make on the machine so the Telekinetic Lock works more than 75% of the time? I know this is an issue on many machines. Did stern send out a fix?

I finally scored a stranger things premium. This game is so cool. The uv kit and projector are awesome. What a fun game. I paid dearly...but it was worth it. Damn shame this game is such a sleeper. So excited.

Someone earlier was asking about getting to the Snow Ball. I can confirm you can only get it if you kill the Demogorgon with a kill shot.
I recorded putting my initials in as I thought I’d got a new GC but just fell short. Had some other good scores though.
They must have changed with the new code. I definitely got there from bashing it. I like that you need a mouth kill to get there though.

jesus, what settings do you have it on. that's double my best score and more than a billion over the best one recorded on pinside and i've played this game A LOT
I hear they are a making a small limited run...well maybe not lol. Can they really not ask to license for another run?

I highly doubt this is going to happen. The game has been moved to out of production on their website.

Everything factory except extra balls I’ve cut back to 2. Factory is 5.

They can renew any license they want. They just choose to move on at some point.

the licensing has gotten insanely more valuable since season 1 and 2, which the game is based on. probably wouldn't be worth it for Stern unless people are willing to pay JJ prices for a vault edition

It had low demand and mech issues. Yeah, it’s super popular now, but they’ve moved on. I doubt we see any vaults anytime soon. They are struggling to make the cornerstone games as is.

don't forget that it launched with (even for $tern) extremely meager code and right before covid. the game's value is lightning in a bottle, it'd be difficult to recreate

This...I know several people didn't like it when it came out. I'll never listen to anyone on pinside again...lol. I could have bought a premium for half of what I paid for mine.
I spoke with stern about the game...and they told me its done...and will stay done...but who knows. I know its awesome with the projector uv kit and ball lock...and the Cleland mods and videos are awesome. And yes...I paid 14k for mine. I had several slip through my fingers...they sold fast...so I made the best with what I could get and pulled the trigger on a low play premium. Love the game!
i still don't really meet a lot of people that LIKE stranger things. it doesn't help that the three i know of here on location in socal were basically thrown on the floor wtihout adjustment and there are literally no safe shots on any of them. having to shake the cab or thump the side EVERY SINGLE TIME the ball exits an orbit can't be what Eddy had in mind for this game
also i know i've said it before but not including the UV kit in the stock build was big mistake. the ambience of the Upside Down is so much of what makes the game rad and unique

seems to me like the very first step would be to get a projector from a working pre or le and hook it up to the line out on the board in the head of a pro to see what happens

as i understand it, people and brands approach Stern to license games, not the other way around. as i also understand it, the next 6 themes are likely already chosen, and none of those is STh. maybe when they reboot the show in 20 years they'll vault it or make Even Stranger Things

I was lucky to have HemiOrange09 Steve from Pinball Refinery powder coat my STh Premium. Many of you kindly shared your powder colors recently and they were helpful in choosing mine. I decided to go with a blacklight/UV reactive pink color and could not be happier with the effect! Fits the game just right! Steve does amazing work and it was all done via shipping in less than 2 weeks! Highly recommend him for anyone considering powder coating their pins!

i think the blacklight paint is rad but it's not my cup of tea as i think it'd be real distracting while playing

i can't find a good spot for "Leaving Hawkins". they are super flimsy and i've snapped it 3 times already
sorry for the third post in a row but i got in a murder group at league last night. went into the 6th game with 15 points, a third place average, which is really good against 3 sub-1000 players. stepping up to my 3rd ball i had 10 million to someone else's 135, 120 and 35. started DD2 with Trap 'Em and blew it up to finish with 180 something and an EB in the bank Two of the people in my group had never seen the second DD mode, which i only got because Mystery awarded the first, 2 shots in to my first ball, grumble.
feelsgoodman. finally, 10 and a half thousand dollars worth of home pinball expenditure pays off

Just had a game that knocked me out of a big knockout event last weekend that went the opposite of yours. Had one more shot to start the DD2 MB and biffed it. Had 2x lit too. Would’ve put me in a healthy lead. The game was super close and I got 3rd. Like everyone was around 175 million. I needed to win it to continue. Difference between 1st and 3rd was less than 20 million.
I recently had a game on a flip frenzy go similar to Diddy. Going into the last ball I was down by like 80 million or something. I scored an extra ball and started a mode with the multiball. Ended that ball over 150 with the win. So just button shot the extra ball and it just happened to MXV skill shot. All I could say was oops lol
