I got them from a company overseas (id have to look it up). Took forever. I complained they were lost. They sent another set, took about a week to arrive. Then the original set showed up.. lol.

Well a glimmer of hope of a Stranger Things game code fixes. I made a comment about no fixes for game crashes with the new code releases, on the Stern Facebook post about the new codes, and got a reply from Mark(Sterns senior systems engineer) saying that they are looking into the ST issues. So hopefully some of the game crashing bugs will get a fix someday.......

PSA: reduced the price of my STh-LE in the market today, and if anyone with a pro wants an upgrade+cash my way and is within the Chicago / Indy / STL triangle I would be willing to split the drive with you or possibly deliver for a fee. Would also consider a 2 for 1 to stern pros on my wishlist or one of the higher end pins on my list with the same delivery / driving offer. I've had a couple deals fall through, thus the markdown now. Making room for a couple deposits I have in place for August / Sept deliveries and working with a new location locally for pro/IC game placements.

I picked up some Stern side armor when I upgraded to a premium recently. I have decided to go a different direction so just listed it on the marketplace if anyone is interested.

I bought a set of these not too long ago for $270 shipped and Cointaker has them for Preorder $269.99. Seems a lot of the people don't care for them but I think they look really nice on the Premium.

I would be surprised if they make them again even if they are on “preorder”. Stern doesn’t have the license anymore. I would leave it at that price and see what happens.

Something is only as worth as much as someone who is willing to pay for it. I believe it's your right to ask whatever you want for them and if people don't want to buy them, they should just move a long. I mean, they are yours to sell.

Good point about the license. Does anyone know if UV kits are done as well? I was telling a buddy last week that knows a guy with a couple NIB premiums he has been sitting on that without UV kits, they probably aren't worth as much as he may thinking.

Premium and LE's are going for a lot more than what distributors sold them for. Accessories may or may not fall into that same category. It is all supply and demand.

Just bought 5 of these(spy hunter, frogger, paper boy, rampage and gauntlet) to create a topper for my machine when I get it! I think I will keep the dig dug on the top of the machine with them.

the dark blue would look especially rad with the huge blue/black mindflayer against the pink sky and then the other side with the dozen or whatever demodogs...not sure about how it'd look with all the character art on the other cabs, though

Powder coating was done by my local dealer - I'll ask for details. Need to call them this week. All I know is the color is named candy purple and yes it looks a bit like a candy.

I removed the demo to attempt fixing the impossible mouth shot on my machine.
When I take off the two black spacers, the bolts will screw not completely back into the bracket. I believe they hit the base of the demo.
Did people change out to shorter bolts?

I shimmed mine with the equivalent of 2 washers each side

I pulled out the two spacers and put a washer on each side. It unfortunately still doesn’t make the shot any easier.
Did anyone have luck propping the demo slightly forward? It looks like that might help.

Did you remove the spacer under his chin?

this is the key right here, i didn't do anything with spacers or washers but i did remove the stopper under the demo chin as it stopped vibrating when i took the spacers out

Propping forward won't do much. If you have a smartphone you should trying taking slow motion video. For the vast majority it appears the demogorgon shots hit low, that's what removing the spacers fixes. For a much smaller subset though the demogorgon hits high. In that case you may have to actually increase the height of the demogorgon. Usually when it's hitting high the demogorgon throws the ball back at you. Low you generally get really nasty glass hits. The slow mo video will tell you how to adjust it.

Ours definitely hits low.. even after taking out the spacers. I had put in a washer on both to prevent from being to low..but I will remove those as well as make sure the screws arent too tight and it it has play. Thanks

Hey sorry if I'm posting in the wrong spot, I am new and just looking for any ideas. Not sure if any of you have experienced the denting on the playfield from the demagorgan ramp but if you have, has anyone come up with any ideas/solutions to try and cover it so it's not so obvious? May not be anything but wanted to throw it out there. Thanks

Some people install a playfield protector from this company: https://www.playfield-protectors.com/

Some disassembly and reassembly of the topside playfield components are required when you do this. I'm sure you can find posts with pictures and maybe videos on YouTube if you search playfield protectors.

Don’t put a playfield protector on. Trust me, you’ll thank me. They play like shit

Over time the individual dents will start to flatten out as you play it. I think it was around 3k games where the main area started to look smoother on my machine. Try not to worry about it and enjoy the game
