I am hoping that some you awesome technicians can give me some help on this jokerz display issue.

I have been able to verify the issue isn't coming from the ribbon cable.

It is a newer rottendog display and when I first start the game it isn't there, but after a few seconds, one of the segments glows brighter than the rest and shows mirrored garage.

If I unplug the high voltage, it goes away for a little while, but after running for a bit it will start to show again.

Yes, i have verified the ribbon cable is good. I have another game that uses the same ribbon and the issue was in both cables.

Thanks Pwedge, I don't have a logic probe, but you have given me exactly what I was looking for.

Thanks for all the technical information, pinside for the win. However, cold solder joints ended up being the culprit. After reflowing most of the connections and other components on the Rottendog board the problem has all but vanished.
