When turning on the machine, the sound board only gets through three flashes of the LED before it stops. Needless to say there is no sound. The rest of the game boots as it should Can anyone tell me what it indicates when the sound board stops after three flashes. Thank you.

Coin op cauldron says three flashes is normal for this game and board system. I am having the exact same problem with my SS.

Agreed. If I'm correct, there are only three flashes, and then the LED should stay off. Assuming then that your board has power and is booting okay, perhaps a signal issue from the MPU, or an issue with the volume pot on the door (or connection there to).
