    Hi,

On the black knight 1980, I would like to replace the large brown disc capacitors. I ordered the reference 5043-09443.

I am surprised to receive little parts about 1/3” diameter. Are these capacitor compatible?

    Thanks in advance

    Jean-Michel

Capacitors today tend to be smaller in size than tens of years ago. If your replacement is of same value (marked 104 or 0.1 uF and 500V) then it is compatible.

Color doesn't matter. Also, capacitors have gotten smaller, so if you are replacing a cap that was produced in 1980 with one produced today, you will see a notable size reduction. Use the parts they supplied without worry.

    Probably the right one

Thanks a lot for your feedbacks. I can solder it with confidence.
