    When you buy them new they are usually packed in an IC tube to protect the legs and then an metal shielded bag to protect from ESD. That should be plenty good for home storage. Super overkill throw in a dessicant pack and oxygen absorbing packet and seal the metal shield bag.

    If anyone wants some empty ic tubes just pay for shipping and I will fill a box up. My pile of tubes is well overflowed.
