Not a mod fan personally. Don't think they enhance games. Unless, it's something that was removed in the production cycle to reduce costs.
Granted, I've seen a limited few I found cool, or must-have, but generally, I'm not a fan.
Same applies to LEDs for me.
However, I've mellowed in my old age, and if the mods/leds help someone enjoy their pins, I'm all for the mods!
And if they are reversible mods, I might consider buying that persons modded game, if it ever goes up for sale
