The pawn shop's comments to my friend was, "we need to be paid for them before they're going anywhere." It wouldn't have mattered who showed up, they weren't going to release them.
Rob this is something that I would think you will need to go there and handle in person with all the proper paper work showing that these pins are your original property, and with the sheriff and proper legal representation as well.
