It's easy to spread negativity when you have no skin in the game. Yes much of the justice system is corrupt. That being said, I'm hoping for a good outcome for the victim's sake. You should too.

That should easily be defeated in court, the thief damaged the victim's property and created a hazard for himself. Photos of the site when he broke in and entered showing sharp metal edges or other materials as a result of him breaking in. I believe people are stupid enough to try that before a judge.
