Very sorry to hear, this is distressing news that any pinball owner can sympathize with and fears from time to time. In addition to looking out on Craigslist and other sell areas, I would put a call out to every scrap yard within a 50 mile radius to be on the lookout for the machine, as well as legs, bolts, lockdown bars, balls, wireforms and any other pieces of a machine that could potentially be pulled for scrap.

I took a high level criminology course in college just out of interest as an elective. From a statistical point of view, the likelihood it's someone you knew or was working at the old house, etc. is indeed extremely high. Were there any contractors, workmen, electricians, plumbers, etc. who might have come to that house in the past few weeks and seen what was there?

This is a great secondary point. I ended up on the receiving end of two stolen pins one time. It was not a pleasant experience at all and almost as sickening a feeling as having something stolen from you.

Hopefully, they will text/call you. That's at least a good trace.

Someone with a local area code just needs to email them, "I can do $10,000 cash. Very interested, could get tonight. Please call me (Phone Number)"

This way it will get the phone number and sound more legit since everyone talks down on CL. From there, it's a traceable number in hand.

I got this from them: No address will meet in public because worth too much too risk BS. Meeting someone at Chikfila in Sawyer tonight so won't be around in morning.

Eh, anytime something on CL is listed low the poster gets slammed. Can we confirm it is a pinsider or OP that is the one meeting in Sawyer? It would just be a relief to the community in general I think to know this is handled by someone who is in the know that it is a hot game.
