I had a boat stolen a few years ago and a few months later a buddy spotted it on Craigs list for sale about an hour drive away. Dumb azz actually left the Mi registration numbers on the port and star bow and left the serial # on it. I contacted the Police, they had me call to buy it, I did and went to the house and when he came out, 5 police cars charged in. Lots of other stolen items there too and I was able to hook my boat up and bring it home. Some people are really stupid, maybe the BBB will turn up on Craigs list, never know, I still can't believe I got my boat back.
Now if anyone tries to brake it you're on Candid Camera, motions, glass breakage detectors etc with the men in blue ready and close.
