This is media hysteria...Unreal

The fundamentals of our economy are very strong; jobs numbers have been great

Question for you guys. I moved out of a US growth cap income fund to a fund with dividend paying stocks only.

My thought was to minimize risk over the next year or so. I’m long on it, it’s in my SEPIRA, it’s about 100k worth of stock.

Was it a smart move? Or should I switch back?

this thread really has taken a left turn .....

Yes it has...I feel dumber for entering it

Quoted from o-din:

Does anybody here think if the Dow hits 40k, it will all come crashing down after that?
Asking for nobody in a particular.
I remember thinking when it first hit 14k in 2007 that might happen.

No crash, we are coming out of this recession as an economy, but I think the market is going to drop a bit...I parked some money in MM just to be safe, it's just crazy how it keeps rising...Props to those who keep riding the bull, but I'm pulling back a little bit for now...I think we see choppiness for the next 8 months and then another pop at end of year as we shoot out of the interest rate situation.

Quoted from o-din:

I'm starting to think that big self induced or manufactured covid recession in 2020 and the smaller one in 2022 prevented the upcoming one from hitting sooner and harder.
Otherwise it would really be long overdue by now.

Yeah for sure...I'm in the hiring business, I run a recruiting agency in Biotech and Biotech space has gotten absolutely hammered in the last 2 years; it's a rolling recession, noone wants to call it that though.

But yeah, we were supposed to get a V shaped recovery and it's been like 2 W's back to back...I feel like we are finally coming out of it, but who knows for sure...
