I had a great game ( for me) on STLE last night. Only ended up with 189 million and didn't even make it to KM. However, I got a new warp ramp champ over 30 and did have new combo champ of 57. I'd do remember hitting warp 9.4 during my first ball but during a multi ball I'd hear a bug in he warp call out...almost like it was stuck. I don't know if I was truly hitting a crazy number of warp shots by luck or if something else was counting toward warp ramp hits. I was focused on the lower part of the playfield trying to keep 4 balls alive successfully for quite a while which is why I'm not really sure if I was actually hitting the warp shot or not. Suffice it to say when the new warp champ popped up at 30 I was quite surprised and happy. (I usually don't even get to warp 7 or 8 on most games and previous champ was at 13)

I've never noticed any miscounting on the warp before but I figured I'd share this and see if anyone else has experienced something similar.

Maybe I'm just better when I don't try to hit the warp ramp lol.

Check the ramp optos if you are getting phantom callouts.

The opoto switches on the warp ramps of many STLEs are faulty. Bad batch. Once replaced everything's fine.

Although once replaced regular scores of 2 or 3 BILLION are much hard to achieve.

Try reseating the connector on the opto board. I've had the same thing happen to me a couple of times and securing the connector did the trick each time. I think the vibrations in the game has that effect, especially if the shaker is used a lot.
