It's a combo of the entire LE package. Cabinet lights, apron lights, leds, enterprise BG... Steve Ritchie wanted the LE to be more than just trim.

I also agree ST has great flow but I have never played a SM though so I can't compare them.
I've owned both nib, similar layout but warp ramp on ST is harder to hit but much faster and exciting. Left/right flipper use to hit either ramp is the same as SM.
