It would be handy (for me, at least) to have a way to mark sticky posts that I don't want to open as "Read" so they don't show up on the list any longer. The only way I know to do this currently is to open the sticky topic and then close it. Sticky posts take up too much screen real estate at the top of the page. One button labeled "Mark Sticky Topics as Read" is what I have in mind.
