Quoted from foureyedcharlie:After my public berating/belittling by SR at expo, I'll never buy another pin made by that grumpy old bastard.
Steve has always been friendly and funny to me and my friends at these events.
Whatever he said to you, I'm sure you deserved it.
Quoted from foureyedcharlie:I figured this would be the response. For the record, you are entirely mistaken. I was very courgal, said please and thx. Not going to elaborate, others saw it..... Others experienced a similar event.... I'm nice as fuck, just ask Gryzzz
If you're going to come in a make inflammatory statements (when honestly, you really don't need to) then you'd better damn well elaborate.
Crazy to think this year marks Steve's 40th anniversary making Pinball games.
Not too much longer to go and he'll pass up Harry Williams....someone Steve has said he admires and who's longevity he aims to emulate in the business.
Oh jeez, that's what he was bitching about? I watched that seminar, and didn't think anything of Steve's response other than humor!
I guess some Pinsider's need a safe space at these events.
Quoted from iceman44:Any wonder why Lyman won't work with him now?
I've heard it's the other way around.
Quoted from adamsebas:I find Steve Ritchies games to be very boring. SW and GOT are the worst!
You should probably cute back on drinking Drano.
Quoted from vid1900:I would imagine that Black Knight would have to be licensed from WMS
You mean Scientific Games.
Stern would have to LICENSE the Black Knight IP from Scientific Games (who owns Williams). Steve has said this is an UN-LICENSED game.
Not happening folks.
They'd have to license BK from Scientific Games (who owns Williams). And since this in an unlicensed game......
Quoted from cletus:Black Knight isn’t trademarked and it seems a little too generic of a name to need a license for. I’m no lawyer, but as long as Stern doesn’t remake the originals they can probably slap a 3000 on there and be safe.

Doubtful.
Quoted from Luckydogg420:Seriously? When will DC realize that DC superhero’s suck compared to Marvel superheroes. The comics are not as good, the cartoons are not as good, the movies are not as good, and I’m betting the pinballs also won’t be as good. Hahaha.
Batman is the best thing DC has going, and his super power is that he’s just a rich guy with toys. On his own Batman is awesome; but compared to most Marvel characters, he doesn’t hold a chance.
Marvel blows chunks of donkey dung.
If I want to read about whiny superheroes complaining about how they can't pay the rent or how the world is mean to them, I'll read Marvel.
If I want to watch gods battle, I read DC.
Quoted from unigroove:A Black Knight bash toy on BK3K would not make sense to me. Why would you bash the main character?
3 playfields on BK3K would make sense to me. But it also made sense to me on Munsters and that didn't happen.
You bash the main character on several pins. It's rarely the bad guy you bash.
