    Quoted from thedarkknight77:

What I love about Steve is he is 100% testosterone!!! The only thing that will let me down is if he makes an original title that isn't a kick ass testosterone game. Now what do I mean by this??? I am talking Space, Gods, Knights, Monsters, Demons, Death, Hot Chicks, Fire, Blood, Black, Speed, Rock n Roll and most of all NO APOLOGIES!! That is my King! God damn stubborn bastard!! Love you Steve!! As the game designer and visionary, he needs to get his hands on a great artist to help him pull off this masterpiece......My vote is for Paul Faris, Dirty Donny or Zombie Yeti! These boys fit the profile and they have proven they are hard hitting artists that know how to make a statement with their art! I want this game to kick my ass like a sexy dominatrix and have me coming back for more! Build it Steve and The Heavens will rain Fire, Blood and money for Stern!!

A Dirty Donny space Wizard-Unicorn-Gremlin-Black light and neon fever dream with Steve Ritchie ball bustin’ would be a fantastic!!!

I would also love for Brian Holderman to do non-licensed artwork on a Space or Sea Creature or Horror themed pin in the near future. Ritchie could ask for it or any other designer for that matter.

I know he’s designed t-shirts and other things in the Stern store in the past.

    It’ll be a prequel.

    Awesome interview!

According to this podcast, everyone at Stern is excited to be a part of the next Steve Ritchie title. I’m going to assume that means it’s a very popular theme. Working with the King of Pinball would be enough for me. There was a rock tune aside from AC/DC that he blurted out, but I doubt it was any kind of clue.

    Quoted from vid1900:

The good thing about Black Knight 6000 is that we still have Brian Schmidt around to write the songs.
He still has his keytar[quoted image]

I would totally be up for a Most Blackest Knight 6000!
I’ve never met a Steve Ritchie design playfield that I didn’t make me spend quarters.

I’m hoping that Zombie Yeti’s latest work is for the next Steve Ritchie masterpiece.

Black Knight isn’t trademarked and it seems a little too generic of a name to need a license for. I’m no lawyer, but as long as Stern doesn’t remake the originals they can probably slap a 3000 on there and be safe.

Eh. Just a thought. One can dream.

    Quoted from unigroove:

A Black Knight bash toy on BK3K would not make sense to me.

I am not a fan of toys on the playfield that interact with the ball. They break and get beat up. Tasteful, off-playfield props and animated features are cool, though.
A laser sword swinging Black Knight on a robotic horse would be awesome.

    Quoted from HighVoltage:

Is this not the common viewpoint? I thought it was...

“You’ve got the power, you’ve got to might, get ready for battle.... beat the black knight!”

    Also, “Stand up and fight!!!”

You are absolutely battling against the Black Knight.
