Dimples is the next game playfield print covered in dimples
I’m a huge SR fan, but Black Knight is not a personal preference for me. I was not a fan of the split playfield design or the theme. As much as I look forward to an unlicensed design from him, a third black knight doesn’t personally excite me. Few sequels best the originals.
Fingers crossed it will me something to my liking. As always, I wish him and the design team all the best.
Long live the King!!!
Quoted from adamsebas:I find Steve Ritchies games to be very boring. SW and GOT are the worst!
You should probably cute back on drinking Drano.

Shut yo' mouth and bow your head in shame! If Steve Ritchie weren't here I doubt there would still be pinball. Definatly no pinball worth playing
F-35 Lightning

The USA military has been paralyzed after the president was tricked into giving all the access codes to Putin.
You, Ramrod, and Hitman go rouge and take to the skies again with the still experimental F35 Lighting III Stealth Fighter Jets.
Because the F35s are experimental, they are able to take flight without Putin's knowledge.
As you gain experience with the F35, new features are found and unlocked.
Mission Modes:
Take out Russian air defense before you are detected
Win back lost allies for ball save
Battle monster catfish at Chernobyl
Rescue Edward Snowden for counter-hack abilities
Destroy Nerve-Gas factory
Destroy Moscow Ritz Carlton
Destroy Kremlin
Wizard Mode:
Battle bare chested Putin in final dog fight

Could be a Midnight Mattress mode?
I loved BK back in the day, but a few things get old fast now days. No reason BK3000 can't be awesome. Its not like it will be exactly the same as the original.
When I spoke with Steve last fall he was excited as hell about this game because he didn't have to deal with Disney or any other license holder.
Quoted from vid1900:I would imagine that Black Knight would have to be licensed from WMS
I was just going to ask if BK3000 would have to be licensed...I think so, unfortunately I don’t think it is BK3000.
Quoted from vid1900:I would imagine that Black Knight would have to be licensed from WMS
Just call it Dark Chevalier 3000
Quoted from vid1900:I would imagine that Black Knight would have to be licensed from WMS
You mean Scientific Games.
Quoted from snakesnsparklers:Just call it Dark Chevalier 3000
That's a license too....
Quoted from thedarkknight77:What I love about Steve is he is 100% testosterone!!! The only thing that will let me down is if he makes an original title that isn't a kick ass testosterone game. Now what do I mean by this??? I am talking Space, Gods, Knights, Monsters, Demons, Death, Hot Chicks, Fire, Blood, Black, Speed, Rock n Roll and most of all NO APOLOGIES!! That is my King! God damn stubborn bastard!! Love you Steve!! As the game designer and visionary, he needs to get his hands on a great artist to help him pull off this masterpiece......My vote is for Paul Faris, Dirty Donny or Zombie Yeti! These boys fit the profile and they have proven they are hard hitting artists that know how to make a statement with their art! I want this game to kick my ass like a sexy dominatrix and have me coming back for more! Build it Steve and The Heavens will rain Fire, Blood and money for Stern!!
A Dirty Donny space Wizard-Unicorn-Gremlin-Black light and neon fever dream with Steve Ritchie ball bustin’ would be a fantastic!!!
I would also love for Brian Holderman to do non-licensed artwork on a Space or Sea Creature or Horror themed pin in the near future. Ritchie could ask for it or any other designer for that matter.
http://www.bholderman.com/
I know he’s designed t-shirts and other things in the Stern store in the past.
I owned Black Knight 2000 for 16 years. This would be a dream theme for me. Such iconic music. "You got the power, you got the might, get ready for battle, beat the Black Knight! HA HA HA HAAAAA!"
A second level playfield would be a staple!
Stern would have to LICENSE the Black Knight IP from Scientific Games (who owns Williams). Steve has said this is an UN-LICENSED game.
Not happening folks.
You could just make a futuristic knight themed game called “Kings Random” or something that alludes to it being BK3K without licensing it.

Think of the amazing Russian Metal soundtrack the game could have.
Stern could probably license all the music for a few rubles.
ХАРИЗМА Когда сжалится бог
Лесьяр - Я усталым таким еще не был
Ария - Аттила
Не надо слов
Эпидемия - Выбор Есть!
Laibach - God is God
Quoted from iceman44:Well he's on the wrong end of that trade then
Lyman's the real "King"
As for a BK3000, it figures, nothing new or innovative
If people love the innovative BK then buy the existing one
We don’t need another rehashed theme
Quoted from KornFreak28:How about ‘The Matrix’?
You are in the wrong thread to be asking that here.

Really? Oops, my bad...Sorry. Post deleted. I'm out
Quoted from PinballManiac40:Did not mean you needed to delete it. Just want to try and keep the thread on topic.
No worries my friend, it was my mistake.
Quoted from Pfunk237:How about a game called Dimples
I like it, Has a mode where you get dimpled to death!
Then another where you dimple a dead horse....
Any leaks yet !
Must be getting close
Can't wait to see The King's next title !
See if it will take my money

Special When Lit Podcast did a recent interview with Steve Ritchie definitely worth checking out. They went to Stern to do it because Steve has a difficult time hearing and needs to read lips a bit.

Great,
Thank you
Awesome interview!
According to this podcast, everyone at Stern is excited to be a part of the next Steve Ritchie title. I’m going to assume that means it’s a very popular theme. Working with the King of Pinball would be enough for me. There was a rock tune aside from AC/DC that he blurted out, but I doubt it was any kind of clue.
BK6K (pro)
BK9K (premium)
BK12K (super LE)
The pro version has the magnasave buttons but no magnets. When you press the buttons you hear ritchies voice: “Gary says— No Way!”
The premiums and LEs have custom insulting call outs “YOU GAVE ME YOUR MONEY!” the LE includes extra guitar solos and a $15 topper
GARY HIRE ME
Quoted from vid1900:The good thing about Black Knight 6000 is that we still have Brian Schmidt around to write the songs.
He still has his keytar[quoted image]
I would totally be up for a Most Blackest Knight 6000!
I’ve never met a Steve Ritchie design playfield that I didn’t make me spend quarters.
Enjoyed the SWL interview, well done guys.
Was god to hear Steve relaxed and providing insight to his 40+ years in pinball design.
I like the fact the Steve is a man of innovation and gave so many cool things to Pinball.
Never knew he leaped into the future with flashers, faceted inserts and wild wireforms, cool !
Adversary games are the best, I put a lot of coin into BK and F14 in the 80's Just loved them.
Hope to hear the F14 story and some more stories about his SRP games one day.
Can't wait for Steve's next game !
