Agreed. 3/4 of my collection is his work. And what work it is. Look forward to seeing what Star Wars is like before I jump.
Given there has been a post a minute so far I think you are right!
He is definitely a man, a myth, a LEGEND !
Even his least strong games are still awesome. I would take a rollergames over many other games for example... even if the theme song haunts me to this day (just thinking of the game has me rock, rock rock'n rollergamin' in my head ).

His brother Mark made that game. LOL!
I don't get this thread...SR is famous?
It's a given he's a very talented pinball and game designer. Mr Mortal Kombat voice! But, what rock did you crawl out from being under?
Cheers to the king!
He makes that fastest, most action packed games than anyone. And they just keep getting better every release!
Quoted from SUPERBEE:I own
The Getaway and F14 Tomcat. Two awesome games by the man!!!!
+1
Quoted from Mudflaps:I had the opportunity to meet Steve at TPF. He was a true gentleman and took the time to tell me about his design for Raven.
I think the dude in the orange shirt is checking out Steve's ass.
Quoted from RandomGuyOffCL:"2nd place is the first loser"
This saying annoys me because it's wrong. 2nd place is the LAST loser. If you have 30 people playing a tourney, you have 28 people who lost before the final person did. Same in sports - the team that loses in a championship game is the LAST loser - the other teams all lost well before they did.

What if you're playing a 2 player game of pinball?

In an elimination tournament this is true. The saying is probably based on racing (track and field or auto - which may predate tournament formats) in which the second person across the line is the 'first loser'
I met Steve Ritchie, real cool guy and a legend! Pretty deaf though hahah I had to yell in his ear to talk to him
He makes some of my favorite games. Had one of those "isn't this a small world" conversations with Steve when I was picking up a few items he was selling.
Starts with him asking where I'm from and ends with Steve growing up five houses from the house I grew up in. His family moved out of the neighborhood a couple years before ours moved in.
Small world.

WHAT?
Quoted from jwilson:Steve Ritchie handed me a flyer once.
See now that probably belongs on a shirt.
I am now going to get a picture of Steve Ritchie handing me a flyer! You could too. We could start a trend.
