Quoted from epthegeek:I wouldn't hitch up to that wagon just yet. This is huge with enthusiasts, but I'm not sure ops are going to jump as hard where they have to count on casual public interest to put money in games. Maybe it will work like you hope, but that's still a long stretch at this point.
Well, it's a pretty kick-ass theme that I think most filthy casuals would find appealing.
Theme whores need to remember that the top games of all time are unlicensed.
Like others have said, this is totally an approachable theme that people understand instantly. It's aggressive and in-your-face. I hope they throw a few laughs in there too like the old days - some of the quotes on BK2K make me laugh out loud, that would really take it to the next level.
Attention all Mace Complainers:
You, the player, weild the Sword of Rage. Not the Black Knight.
We now return you to your regularly scheduled nonsense.
Quoted from Rarehero:Kevin O'Connor isn't good with limbs in perspective. See Kiss.
Apparently KISS was supposed to look crappy on purpose? Like the original or something? I dunno.
Quoted from Rarehero:He also has trouble with nice silhouettes and avoiding tangents. This game would have looked better with Yeti or Donnie doing the art...but it seems like Steve doesn't like working w/ the "new" artists.
I'd like to go on record as saying I like the artwork since his "imperfect" style is a throwback to the era of the original games. BK2K is better but that style is never coming back so this is a fine compromise.
Quoted from pingod:First Black Knight pro in Canada
Are you sure? There was a Pro set up at Cabin Fever in Toronto several days ago.
