Quoted from Crile1:Wow. No upper playfield on the pro model? That is the whole thing about BK games...they all have an upper playfield.
Be glad the Pro model still includes a main playfield.

Quoted from Rarehero:Also those games are of a different era, where arcades were plentiful & home game sales weren't a thing. Theme gets people to run up to a game on location or buy it for their home if it presses their nostalgia buttons.
Right, this is where BK has a leg up against something like DI, Oktoberfest, or some rando original theme in the 2019 landscape.
-For some people (pinball people), it *IS* a theme...it's a threequel of a popular pinball franchise.
-For location players, they can walk up and EASILY understand it. "Me vs. that knight". GO. People walk up to DI or Oktoberfest and go WTF? Pass.
Not sure why you chose DI in your example, it literally tells you what to shoot for. It can't get any more idiot proof.
Quoted from iceman44:Are you saying there are lots of “idiots” on here or certain people that over dramatize everything to make a point?
Yes.
That music sounded good at the beginning but grated on me after a few minutes. Looking forward to putting some plays on it at Allentown.
Quoted from Guinnesstime:Overall, it's cool. It's not a buy, but I'd like to play it, like Iron Man.
I never liked BK or BK2000, so this doesn't surprise me. For the non pinhead, this would probably be a pass. Theme matters a lot.
I'll never understand. So if this was the same pin but say, an AC/DC theme you'd buy it?
How can anyone consider a game that they may not like shooting but say f*&^ it, it's a cool THEME?
Should be just the opposite.
I can't stand IMDN music or POTC movies, but when a pin is good...it's good.
Hard to tell in the pics, but is there anything of interest going on behind the Knight besides some pops and three rollovers? Looks like more could've been done there.
Quoted from jeffspinballpalace:Has Stern figured out why the shields keep busting loose? Game to be renamed Black Knight - Shield of Rage.
Maybe because he's holding his shield at an odd angle like the sword.
