finally played BK3 this WE, more than few times...

quickly feel relax with the way it shot, and when you have them, OK, this is fun and it shot well (PRO version)

BUT

you cant miss ! as soon you hit the metal posts in the center of the PF, its the airballs fiesta :/
on the left (over the platics), on the right (in the shooterlane), under the glass, and even big back jumps over/behind the flippers !!!
end of ball

dont know if slope adjust & coils set up can help about this, but for most of us playing this pin, this was the main talking point

I've gotten a few stuck balls on my pro. One under the right sling but I think that was my fault. I do notice the war lane but a gentle nudge and it pops right out. I have noticed several times the ball does get stuck behind the shield. Not sure what causes it as the next time I shoot over there no more issues. The balls search seems to clear it after a few attempts.

No mine was fine behind the catapult. Look for any Obstructions. Throw a ball around it manually to see what the issue is. Maybe a loose screw is causing the holdup?

Ok figured this one out in case anyone has same issue. There is a black and white wire that I believe was blocking the path causing ball to get stuck I tucked it off to the side and so far things ok .. crossing my fingers

Im really really shocked that Stern can't just do shaker motor intensity adjustment in the settings. I mean low/med/high, how hard can it be ? Any adjustments currently in the menus seem to just adjust the frequency not the intensity. Stern please add this to future code.

Without getting into details, this basically can't be done in software or it would be already.

Ok well can't they just sell some cheap easy to connect accessory that can tone down these shakers? I know you can buy that dial from amazon but I dont want to strip any wiring.

But .. I was never into shooters but that Black Knight shooter on Stern web site accessory looks pretty damn cool.. ordered !

It was actually simple, except for the hunting around trying to figure out how it was mounted. Let me save you all some time...
All you'll need is a #1 Phillips screw driver and your 1/4" nut driver.
There are 4 electrical connectors running to the upper PF. Reach behind the back of your PF and disconnect them there.
Using the nut driver, remove one screw (RED DOT) and two aluminum extensions (GREEN DOTS). Using your screw driver remove two small screws (PINK DOTS) and pop the metal scoop off the end of the shooter ramp.
Now you can lift entire upper PF off as one assembly. REALLY NICE DESIGN!! And you don't even fuss with the flipper, it stays in place and the PF lifts off around it.
And checkout the handle they mounted to the rear of the PF to help you lift the PF... classy.[quoted image]

This was very helpful to me, however you didn't mention that the wiring harness for the left side of the upper play field had an adapter which is way too large for the hole in which the wires run through. That means that once you remove it, you are still tethered to the rest of the playfield .

I really wish they had elected to use a different sized adapter so that you could simply pull the wires out. That would make this a perfect design.

Hey guys Im about to install shooter rod, but Im concerned about lifting up playfield with such nice art blades on LE. I dont want to scratch them! Anyone had any issues doing this?

BKSoRLE is an excellent effort by Steve Ritchie, not a throwaway game that some claim who wrote theme off early. Rules are still evolving, but so far the game is difficult, in your face and fun with short ball times. I’ve been getting 5+ multiballs in a great game, including a stacked 6 ball mb. As a pinball addict, I get that one more game vibe when playing BKSoRLE, your mileage will vary.

Feeling pretty good right now. Saved Getadam's marrage and scored a minty BKSOR LE in the process.

Can't wait to play this and thrash to the metal while I flip away.

Just got my premium from the disty here in Rochester yesterday. It was built on tuesday 6/11. My only other NIB game was ST premium. I like BKSOR but the difference in quality is a bit disapppointing. Also I noticed the balls are shit. They almost look used. Put some tumbled ones in and waxed the almost-sticky playfield. Just ordered some mirror blades and will doll it up a bit more. Any good 3D mods yet?

Better build than my deadpool and iron maiden. The bottom base piece is layered 3/4 inch on BK unlike the others using mdf.

Finally played Black Knight SoR Pro on a location near me that got the machine 2 days before!

First thing that popped out was that the fire backpanel wasn't working. It just 'flashed' when it was supposed to simulate a burning effect. Bummer but that doesn't change the game.

The game itself I mostly loved. It shoots well, I was able to combinate shots even tough I'm a bad player and it's tons of fun getting taunted by the Black Knight the whole time, wich leads to the "one more game" effect.
That said and without wanting to sound rude, you can definately notice the Kings age a bit, wich makes the Black Knight sounding a bit off from time to time. (I know it's really minor, it just stuck with me.)

The only thing that makes me not instantly buy this game is that the black knight itself doesn't move when you hit the target.
Yes he lights up and says "ouch" or something, but I just want some kind of physical feedback.
A shaker would maybe add to that, but if someone would build a mod for that (it doesn't even need software if you just fire up a coil when the target is hit) this thing would exceed the "Vengeance".

Does the shaker go off if you hit the knight?

We just got a Premium this past week at our league location. I've played the Pro a bunch at Allentown but have to say I really like the Premium better. And this is after the fact that I first thought I liked the Pro better because I don't really like upper playfields.

Same experience. Came to the Premium thinking it was inferior to the Pro because of the clear upper playfield and ended up really liking the Premium way more than the Pro. Neither were brought in for the route I help with, but if I was buying one, I'd get the Prem.

I have to agree. I don’t want to be one of those upper play field trolls but I really think it is a better game with it. Both versions are great. You can’t go wrong either way. I think the game plays a lot like #tna which is interesting.

I still haven’t found a BKSoR pro to play but love the LE. Would you say the BKSoR pro feels like a complete game or does it feel like a separate but equally awesome game? Can’t imagine playing this game and enjoying it without an upper playfield, feeling it is integral to the strategy and the way one plays the game. Is it any different for you on BKSoR? If the pro feels like a complete but different game, is anyone crazy enough to have a pro & prem/le sitting next to each other at home?

As a reference, all versions of Munsters feel like one game to me and while the prem/le has an added lower playfield that is cool, I don’t miss it playing on a pro. Color or no color all versions give me 95% of the experience. Also on Deadpool, the left orbit shot around back of game, down the shooter lane then up and down to the right flipper is cool but feel I get 95% of the experience with a DP pro. Do you still get 95% of the experience with BKSoR pro?

I feel the exact same way but in the opposite fashion. Not an upper PF man, never have been so very happy for the Pro option.

Steve Ritchie mentioned this wad the original intent but getting the mech in their with the other two was a engineering challenge. Would have really made it over the top! Oh well

Stern should have added a spring between Herman’s arm and body, allowing it to swing independently and for the arm to be attenuated while hiding the spring, the effect is way better than what we don’t have now. No motor, electronics, lighting, wiring, routing or Bluetooth required. Bobble arms don’t require a high falutin engineering degree. disclaimer - I have one

When I listen to something like this I hear "It's not like I wanted either,... and it's all Garys fault!".

Well, the servo for the flail IS quite big as I've seen it so far.
Someone care to show how that BK mechs looks from beneath the playfield.

And question still:
Does the shaker go off when you hit the target beneath the knight?
(That would save a lot for me.)
