I thought it was just me.
But, it's an art style that can fit the theme so I wouldn't say it's "bad". It's like a late 90s or early 2000s retro animation.

I disagree there. I'd say the animations are the best I've seen from stern so far, but not better than anything else out there. But still overall quite good.

absolutely! Awesome lighting on the creatures textures, also the damage animations look spectacular and it seems like there are a lot!
Looks like your typical fun stern pin... if you love the theme it will be a must have. I'm just glad we have so many new pins coming out... great times for our small hobby. Looking fwd to see how the premium /le shoots
. The pro doesn't have a whole lot going on ..so hoping the premium adds alot.
Excited to play the premium at MGC this weekend. Between this and the JJP one, the wife and I are pretty psyched to get to play two brand new pins.
Seems brutal, like an early SS that fights back! I love it.

Yea it looked similar to guardians. A bit tighter and challenging for sure. Though I don't think anything is as "tight/off" as houdini 
The hype train is starting to derail already, how very expected.
I can't wait to flip it, it looks fun thus far.
It's like AC/DC in that if you miss a shot and hit one of those targets in middle of p/f, it's draino!
Animations are great.
I'm just happy that Stern finally does a theme that's not a movie, tvseries or rock-/metalband.. so tired of those

I think there are a good many le left and believe there will be even more available after this steam.. just like every other release.

It's another solid Stern game.
Why does every game have to be THE BEST STERN EVER? Its always - "I've ordered therefore its the best" or "I haven't ordered therefore its not".
Looks pretty great to me, solid package, way more interesting than yet another TV show or movie, I definitely applaud seeing some actual imagination and creativity. Sounds, music, LCD animations, light show, art, I dig it. Nothing feels half assed or phoned in or lacking.
The actual ball action and playfield design isn't wowing me though, to be honest. But I'm down to flip it and see for myself when I get the next chance.
I say good job to Stern. The choice between this and Wonka is easy for me, neither, I've got way better ways to blow this kind of money than spend it on new pinball prices. But looking forward to actual comparisons, instead of braindead fanboy cheering.

Glad I waited. More red gi? I'm just not liking the way this plays so far. Animations look cool but gameplay seems dull. Music is already starting to get repetitive (excessive double bass)
I think I'm going to go buy a Star Trek now though so thanks to Steve Ritchie either way.
Fingers crossed for Queen, Bttf or Bill and Ted.

I said it was a solid all around pin a must have for folks that love bk theme. Its not a must have otherwise especially with so many new pins coming out this year and limited space. I hope it does well so they will do more original stuff.
