Here comes the "Is Black Knight going to be released by Stern!??!?" me too threads.
Sword of Rage is a properly bad ass name, I hope it reflects the entire tone of the game. Go Ritchie go.
Quoted from Beebl:We have a new title! @JJP please take note, YBR WoZ does not count as a new release.
At TPF Jack said the new Woz is not part of his 2 new titles this year, Take Note. He said new game is on the line and 2nd game is out later.
Quoted from zacaj:Hopefully it's not a snooze fest like BK2K
Co-signed. BK2K has unbeatable music and incredible art (best backglass ever?), but is terrible to play. Stay up top, loops all day, right flipper all day. When played well, the lower playfield and left flipper are never used.
That said, Stern knows they can’t get away with that in 2019. Two half-games don’t equal a whole. I’d expect a full lower game and decent upper playfield.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:It's Tim Sexton.
Really looking forward to what he comes up with.
Quoted from cooked71:Really looking forward to what he comes up with.
Me too. timballs vids are great. Tourney player experience. Seems like he would know how to code a solid game.
Quoted from PPS:WMS (Williams Electronics Group) certainly does exist and never ceased to exist ... WEG is a subsidiary within Scientific Games under Bally Technologies ...
When SG bought WMS in 2013, it was a whole owned subsidiary until 2016, when it was completely absorbed into SG. A quick trip over to SG website shows WMS as a label only...and not under Bally, but side by side.
Quoted from LargemouthAss:So is it King or Ian on guitar?
As someone that's seen Anthrax like 12 times and Slayer 7 or 8 times, that sounds like Scott Ian to me.

I feel like Stern and PPS exactly know the legal entities that they have to license from and give credit to.

Is that a giant Black Knight bash toy in the middle?
Quoted from cooked71:Living up to your user name at least.
First post is a hell of a post.
Quoted from TreyBo69:Is that a giant Black Knight bash toy in the middle?
I doubt it. Can't think of a SR game with a bash toy. More like a cool 3D figure on top of a plastic/standup
Quoted from cooked71:Living up to your user name at least.
Yeah seriously. Looks awesome.
His/her first ever post? Haha hmm

Sword and shield interact with the ball.
Quoted from InsiderInfo:[quoted image]
That looks pretty bad ass can't wait to see more.
Regardless of what Tim Sexton puts out for code... I think we can all be glad Dwight isn't on this.
Edit: all of you who are down voting this can't possibly be giving him a pass for him completely failing at GB...come on!
Quoted from Daditude:Has anyone heard of a possible release date?
This is Stern bro, so use your imagination. Probably shipping within a week or two as always.
LE/Premium a couple months down the line.
Quoted from Daditude:Has anyone heard of a possible release date?
A few weeks after announcement is standard for Stern. Wonder how many people will try to MGC Show deal one.
Quoted from Daditude:Has anyone heard of a possible release date?
People have said it will be at Midwest Gaming Classic which is in April, which is about the same time as Maiden last year and about 3 months since Munsters. Mid April seems like a safe bet.
Quoted from epthegeek:A few weeks after announcement is standard for Stern. Wonder how many people will try to MGC Show deal one.
If it's anything like Maiden people will be bringing these home from MGC.
Lol lots of Dwight apologists in here... Sorry, he laid an egg on GB...and Stern needs to get their ass in gear and rectify it as they promised.
Quoted from TreyBo69:I feel like Stern and PPS exactly know the legal entities that they have to license from and give credit to.
There’s always some dork who knows better.

You can contact our WEG (WMS) attorney who confirmed my wording today ...
WMS Gaming, Inc. was merged into Bally Gaming, Inc. However, Williams Electronics Games, Inc. continues to exist as a separate subsidiary of Bally Technologies, Inc. (which is also the parent of Bally Gaming and a subsidiary of Scientific Games Corp.).
So as you say, I think PPS knows the legal constructs that we are operating in ... jeesh
Quoted from Gryszzz:It's Kerry King. I knew about this last week like a lot us, but didn't run my mouth off about it as to not piss off my source.
Also....SUPER STOKED!
Gawd DAMNIT!! Slayer Riffing and Richie Call outs?? F ME!!!! I thought I was done spending money!!!!!!!!!
Quoted from Robertstone0407:I heard strong source tomorrow reveal, only a LE and premium model
Awesome, I’ll take 2.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:If it's anything like Maiden people will be bringing these home from MGC.
I got a IMDN from the show and you are likely right saying SOR will be at the show also. Pros
Quoted from CrazyLevi:I doubt it. Can't think of a SR game with a bash toy. More like a cool 3D figure on top of a plastic/standup
So the Star Wars Tie Fighter.
Hey honey, come look at this toy on a spring!
Quoted from TreyBo69:So the Star Wars Tie Fighter.
Hey honey, come look at this toy on a spring!
It doesn't look like a toy on a spring from that 2nd gen screen capture.
Also stop telling your wife to come look at your games she doesn't care.
Quoted from Robertstone0407:I heard strong source tomorrow reveal, only a LE and premium model
Same, I heard "Official" announcement will be tomorrow...
