Quoted from Guinnesstime:No machine shown. Just a burning knight silhouette saying he's back etc. No date. No nothing.
It did have the Stern logo in the credits so it’s most likely official.
Quoted from cletus:It did have the Stern logo in the credits so it’s most likely official.
I double checked who uploaded it (SternPinball) because I thought it was fake at first. Seemed legit, but very basic. Just about the only thing to glean is it's coming soon, it'll be called Black Knight Sword of Rage, and a basic idea of what the Black Knight will look like. He kinda had a cyber sword looking thing like the Halo video games. Oh and lots of fire because fire is metal AF

Oh yeah. Seemed credible.

It needed more lightning. Hoping for three playfields and lots of sassy call outs.
Love the title.
I have reliable sources stating that this is Ritchie's fifth to last pinball machine.
Love that it’s his voice laughing. Guessing he’ll be doing all the call outs. Nothing bette than getting trash talked by Steve Ritchie while playing pinball.
Quoted from Gryszzz:It's Kerry King. I knew about this last week like a lot us, but didn't run my mouth off about it as to not piss off my source.
Also....SUPER STOKED!
SICK
Maybe he'll sneak the Fight for your Right solo in there.
Quoted from Sinestro:Steve must have had a blast making this after the rough time he had making Star Wars.
He still made a great Star Wars though...
Quoted from Pinphila:He still made a great Star Wars though...
It's a cool game. But is it a great Star Wars game? Meh

If this is true I am thrilled!
Quoted from LargemouthAss:If this is true I am thrilled!
Oh it’s true! It’s damn true!
If you are a stern insider you know.
Quoted from imharrow:Please tell me Sword of Rage means the Black Knight is fighting the SOF adventurers.
Considering that Steve Ritchie considers SOF to be one of the worst games produced at Williams during his tenure I'd consider that unlikely.

Ah, so this is where all the Stern Slayer rumours came from.
Quoted from cooked71:Ah, so this is where all the Stern Slayer rumours came from.
Quoted from Blacksun:Just posted a teaser video!!!

Hahhaahh you guys used my picture! With my hat on =)

Quoted from PanzerFreak:Sweet! Hope Lyman is on code.
Will you please stop saying that? It's like your new "where are the toys?"
IT'S NOT LYMAN.
It's Tim Sexton. For the 500th time.
Steve even said that during the seminar everybody hated!
Quoted from zacaj:Hopefully it's not a snooze fest like BK2K
Ritchie has been doing some interesting upper playfield designs for years (WPT, Elvis, GoT), but it'll all depend on code...
Maybe it'll be pinball's first quad level playfield?!
Quoted from CrazyLevi:Maybe it'll be pinball's first quad level playfield?!
someone must emerge from the shadows to battle quad-assembly
Quoted from Robotoes:someone must emerge from the shadows to battle quad-assembly
Will Lyman be coding at least one of the four playfields?!
Quoted from CrazyLevi:SICK
Maybe he'll sneak the Fight for your Right solo in there.
No Sleep till Brooklyn
I'm excited for the licensed un-licensed theme. I hope this baby is over the top epic; should have broad appeal among the casual arcade/pinball playing crowd if it's bright and loud like the previous two iterations.
I hope it's as close to having "adult" themes as Stern will bare, similarly to IM. Would do well in bars and on regular locations that way. Being a SR game, it'll have machismo, that's for sure!
I’m in on whatever the top of the line is. Sight unseen.
Have to buy one - just to hear Steve Ritchie laughing at me while I play!
Quoted from crwjumper:I’m in on whatever the top of the line is. Sight unseen.

That's just silly. I am going to wait to play it first.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:Will Lyman be coding at least one of the four playfields?!
that's obviously a must. otherwise, i'm OUT!
Quoted from Grandnational007:I hope it's as close to having "adult" themes as Stern will bare, similarly to IM.
You realize Stern did Playboy, right? And Sopranos? And Family Guy?
If it makes sense with the theme, they haven't avoided much of anything.
Can one of the people who overanalyze things tell me when the expected dates for IGN article and Deadflip stream should be?
Quoted from CrazyLevi:Will Lyman be coding at least one of the four playfields?!
Thanks.
That was a true laugh out loud moment.
Upper playfield is clear Lexan like world poker tour but with one flipper
Scott Ian of Anthrax is doing the guitar soundtrack
Quoted from Sinestro:Interesting that is says licensed from "Williams Electronic Games", since WMS doesn't exist anymore. Scientific Games bought them a few years back. WMS doesn't even exist as a subsidiary anymore, just a label at SG.
Maybe SG they created "Williams Electronic Games" to license WMS IP?
WMS (Williams Electronics Group) certainly does exist and never ceased to exist ... WEG is a subsidiary within Scientific Games under Bally Technologies ...
Quoted from imharrow:Can one of the people who overanalyze things tell me when the expected dates for IGN article and Deadflip stream should be?
The IMDN teaser came out almost exactly 1 year ago to the day, DeadFlip gameplay reveal was 2 weeks later. BK gameplay reveal is probably 2nd or 3rd week of April.
Ok cool. Guess what Levi, you don't need to be an ass and be rude about it.
Also, God forbid I bring up anything about toys on a $6k-$9k pinball machine of all things lol.
Quoted from PanzerFreak:Ok cool. Guess what Levi, you don't need to be an ass and be rude about it.
You've been told this many times and at a point it starts to sound insulting to the people actually coding the game. But sorry I suppose it's possible you hadn't noticed. I'm sure Tim will code a great game for you.
