I am going to attempt a code upgrade on a Metallica PRO in a pub that is currently still on 1.01 (ouch!) But I haven't done this before. Managed to get the .bin file in a 512MB USB 1.1 age stick. I noticed it was formatted in FAT16 and left it the way it is and just deleted all the other files. Would a FAT16 be compatible with the SAM in question?
Also, I will make a current code backup before.. should any issue happen during code update, can this board use a recovery mode to reinstall the old code? Or will I have to replace some hardware to get it running again?
