Who would bet that Stern already has a distribution agreement in place with Costco? Do you think a $3999 price tag would be too prohibitive to actually move these things in a Costco?

I've seen full size Mame cabinets, pool tables, air hockey. This is definitely more expensive but I could see it happening. They only need to sell a handful at each Costco location to outsell anything Stern has done in the past 10 years.

I am really not a fan of the machine but there are some smart people working upstairs at Stern and I can see this making them some serious money.
And consider that it would probably not be the only distributor for this machine. They could easily use their traditional resellers and sell another 2-3K machines. This could be the biggest money maker for Stern, that doesn't at all resonate with the hardcore base.
