Stern has been trying cheaper versions for years so they must either sell more then pinside thinks or they think they are on to something and just have to get the formula right. More pinball is always a good thing. The game actually doesn't look horrible to me. Also these releases never have anything to do with sterns cornerstone game releases. So no clue why anyone would be disappointed or worked up about it, wait a few weeks and everyone will have something new to bitch and moan about.
Quoted from delt31:Sorry but for Stern to hype this home version like it's their next big new game is complete bullshit. That's the problem. Simple as that.
Hopefully Stern has another trick up their sleeve today and rights the wrong.
There has been almost no hype other then KE insinuating that his game is coming soon. Do you want stern not to tell people they will be at a show with a new release just because it's not what you wanted? That makes zero sense. Right the wrong, lol what are you talking about?
Quoted from Aurich:What hype?
Serious question, I have no idea what you're referring to. A press release? They're releasing a new product that they clearly worked hard on, at a big convention, and put out a standard press release.
What else?
Apparently people cannot wait 2 more weeks to see the next cornerstone game so temper tantrums will be thrown. And once the next game is released more temper tantrums will be thrown because its not perfect for them either.
