Manufactured by Chicago’s own Stern Pinball, the Mustang-inspired games combine two icons of American pop culture – pinball and Mustang.

Stern Pinball’s Pro model, designed for arcades and other public spaces, features Mustangs from the past five decades. The Boss Premium model focuses on an array of Boss Mustang models while the 50-Years-of-Mustang Limited Edition machine contains exclusive commemorative game features and art from the1965 original Mustang through the all-new 2015 Mustang GT. WWE Wrestlemania will be available in both Pro and Limited Edition models.

WWE Wrestlemania calls players into the ring as WWE superstars embarking on a quest to become the WWE worldwide heavyweight champion. Players train their wrestlers and then compete in a series of matches leading them on the road to Wrestlemania.

The WWE Pro and the Limited Edition machines feature an innovative upper pinball playfield wrestling ring. With the flipper buttons, players control two “Slammer” slingshot-style kickers in the ropes of the ring. Completing the three drop target bank starts a wrestling match. Players rack up points and pin opponents in the ring by shooting into a kick out hole. Keeping the ball in
the ring and hitting as many targets as possible will advance players through the match. Multiple ramps guide the ball throughout gameplay, while brilliant lightshows highlight the all LED playfield. Ten licensed songs include intro music for wrestlers that players choose. WWE announcers Jerry “the King” Lawlor and Michael Cole add play by play excitement.

Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan will individually autograph each of the numbered WWE Legends of Wrestlemania Limited Edition (LE) machines on a bottom arch mounted gold plaque. With only 400 autographs available, this collectible must be limited to that number of games. The LE game art features classic WWE stars, of course including Hulk Hogan. Actual WWE wrestling
action is projected on the LE’s replica “Titantron” playfield level 5.7 inch LCD directly above the ring. The ball is always wild when it comes into contact with the LE’s exclusive "Chaos" spinning DISC while a third “Wham! Arm” flipper allows players to knock the ball off a wire ramp.

"It looks like Stern is once again entering the retails space — this time with electronics giant Best Buy. In a press releases sent out today, Stern Pinball announced that they would be selling their Avatar, TRON: Legacy, The Rolling Stones (Pro and LE), and Iron Man Classic for between $3,799 (IM) to $5,999 (TRS LE).
Gary Stern adds, “Pinball is back and booming… being available through an incredible retail channel such as Best Buy brings pinball to the main stream mass market.” There’s not much doubt about that. And while this may be quite a blow to Stern’s pinball distributors, most in-the-know collectors still know where the best prices are available. The only real question is whether the financing plan of Best Buy would be enough to lure established buyers away from their Stern distributors.
The games are already up on Best Buy’s website, and will begin shipping later this year. There’s no word on whether display models will be available in store, but it seems like they’d have to be to attract the main stream mass market. It’s doubtful that the average Joe or Jane will pay full retail price for something they see on BestBuy.com and don’t have an opportunity to touch in person.
The product descriptions do state that there’s a 6 month warranty for parts (does this include the boards which only carry a typical 2 months warranty from Stern?) and a 60 day warranty for labor. Also, will Geek Squad be offering repair services? If so, we want a reality TV show of that!"

The Batman ‘66 Anniversary Edition pinball machine will be available in Premium, Limited Edition, and Super Limited Edition models. The company has no current plans to produce a Pro model.
In celebration of Stern Pinball’s 30th anniversary and Batman’s 50th anniversary, Stern Pinball will build a Super Limited Edition model. The Super Limited Edition model also includes a one-of-kind art package plus multiple translites, a unique included topper and accessories package, and a high-fidelity 3-channel audio system that is three times more powerful than audio systems of previous generations. The Super Limited Edition model will be allocated by invitation and through an application process open to pinball collectors. Collectors can apply for a Super Limited Edition model by completing and submitting an application located at http://www.Batman66Application.com. Applications are due by 11:59 pm CST on September 30, 2016.
The Limited Edition model will be offered in two series of 120 games each. Each game in the first series will be named for one of the 120 episodes of the television show. Each game in the second series will be named for one of the iconic “bat gadgets” used in the series. In total, only 240 Limited Edition machines will be produced.
All purchasers who make a deposit on their game will also receive a VIP invitation to an exclusive “meet and greet” with Batman (Adam West) at the Westin Chicago North Shore Hotel in Wheeling, Illinois during the weekend of Chicago’s Pinball Expo.

SLE Batman 66 increased from 30 to 80 units because so many people are throwing big dollars at them - this just made the bubble a little bigger.

Demand for this Super Limited Edition was incredible. We were overwhelmed with fantastic applications and it was difficult to decide who should get these games. In fact, in fairness we could not reject enough applications.
Due to this demand, we have increased the quantity to 80:
· 30 for the 30 years of Stern Pinball beginning with 1986, and
· 50 for the 50 years of Batman ’66 beginning with 1966.

Maybe Stern is pushing more of the premiums to be sited with the full features and the budget conscious can get the stripped "The Pin" "home" version or forced to buy the Premium which will probably called the Pro. Time will tell but if all the other manufacturers are making full game featured games for their standard and LE versions, it is probably where Stern are going.

But I don't agree with it even though I might type it.

that is why I decided to just keep one thing consistant and compare MSRP as actual real prices vary between dealers a little to greatly. The price watch also is interesting as a time line of what has been changing over time (long and short) as trying to find that info later is much harder. Wish I did it for the other companies as well.

maybe the purchase price was under the MSRP but the listed MSRP's are correct based on the game's launch info:

as the MSRP info is basically copy and pasted from their launch data.

what I do remember is Stern started to increase their prices alot 6 months after JJP launched WOZ and they probably figured hell we will bump our prices to cash in and haven't stopped.

haven't seen this one, but this is a time in motion study at snail pace of games launched comparing JJP to Stern.

Stern in the last 5 years - 23 games (not including the AC/DC Lucy re-skin or re-runs of Tron or the various Pro's, Premium's and LE but factoring in VE's)

I thought it was a joke but just in case was curious.....

as for this thread, I just thought it would be cool to track info as it was launched, as launch info is hard to find down the track and people like to bring up pricing based on random bits of info.

but like with the 23 machine count, it is an example where you can quickly go to the first post in this thread and count all the games between 2016 and 2011, or Pro's went up "X" amount over a certain period etc.

Rumors of an AC/DC Luci Premium Vault Edition started swirling last Thursday after a website in Germany posted one for sale. On Friday, Stern confirmed this information on Facebook, stating:

“SHE’S BACK! Back by popular demand, Stern announced at the EAG show in London that a small production run of AC/DC Luci Premium Vault edition games will be available in mid-February.

Most of you remember the dynamic cabinet, translite and mini-playfield art package. Please see the attached photos.

Luci game play and rules remain the same that Steve Ritchie, Lyman Sheats and their team created for popular AC/DC Premium.

Luci has the 12 great AC/DC hits from our AC/DC games.

Luci’s price is the same as the standard AC/DC Premium Vault released last year.

As the market continues to grow. Vault titles are a great way to capture new end-users attention and sales.”

Supreme (New York Skateboard / Fashion company) added by Stern and apparently a very limited run of 12 units for Supreme. Not sure if Supreme are selling, auctioning but if anyone here's of a release price post back here. Is mostly a rethemed Spiderman home edition in possibly a pro cabinet.

The Premium and Limited Edition (500 made) versions contain some additional, fancy features which we don’t have pictures of yet… But here’s how Stern describes them:

Interactive sarcophagus ball lock.
Motorized secret tomb entrance.
Controlled middle pharaoh laser-cut metal ramp that raises to reveal the underworld scoop.
Dual sensing Newton ball (This is pinball firmly mounted on the playfield that, when hit, transfers energy to a captive ball behind it).

The MSRP for the Pro Model is $5,999, while the Premium Model will run you $7,599, and the Limited Edition Model a cool $8,999. Stern told IGN that they’ve already entered production for the Pro model of Iron Maiden with the LE to follow in April and the Premium after that, but you can order all three models now from dealers around the world.

CHICAGO, IL – July 26, 2019 – Stern Pinball, Inc., a global lifestyle brand based on the iconic and outrageously fun modern American game of pinball, announced today the availability of a new line of pinball machines celebrating the iconic film, Jurassic Park. Jurassic Park pinball machines will be available in Pro, Premium, and Limited Edition models.

Like the blockbuster movie, the Jurassic Park pinball experience generates heart pounding excitement as the player progresses through the game. As the game starts, the player is transported to Isla Nublar, an amusement park where escaped dinosaurs are running amok! The player’s mission is to rescue park staff and recapture dinosaurs from the chaotic environment unleashed by Dennis Nedry’s computer virus. All dinosaurs, however, are not created equal as players will battle Raptors and the mighty T. Rex! The game immerses players in the fun world of battling dinosaurs in an action-packed adventure filled with twists and turns.

The Premium and Limited Edition models feature an amazing animatronic ball-eating, ball-throwing T. Rex that interacts with the ball and the player. These models also include an interactive Raptor and Raptor Pen featuring a ball-lock mechanism guarded by a motorized gate. The action does not let up with unique mosquito-in-amber pop bumpers and a custom metal horizontal helicopter spinner.

The taunting is over and the haunting begins in the third and campiest installment of the Elvira pinball trilogy! Trying to sell her mansion through “Alternate Realty”, Elvira’s house is haunted by the movie characters from her past. These ghouls, ghosts, monsters, and strange assortment of vintage characters with horrific acting skills seek revenge on Elvira while she and the player confront them, sending them back to the “film” from which they came! Elvira’s House of Horrors immerses players in a fun, campy, B-movie universe filled with all of the humor expected from the Mistress of the Dark including custom speech and, in a pinball first, exclusive filming of Elvira for custom video scenes featured throughout the game!

The Premium, Limited Edition, and Signature Edition models all feature Elvira’s “House of Horrors”, a frightening Victorian fixer-upper, full of creepy charm and supernatural surprises. Players can gain access to the mansion through the front door, the cellar, or through the garage which is guarded by a gravestone drop-target. I think it is also funny they say hurry to get a Elvira LE before they sell out a while back and they are still avialable - prices are getting to high for the aussie market or they are trying to provide a reason for people to buy the home version.

price went up on the latest Stranger things a small amount in the US and then increased more than double that change in Aus as well as all other games increased as well (even ones aready purchased and heading here as well as stock)

I would not be surprised and I have given up on buying Sterns, I am hoping that Haggis can start getting a few good games out and they can have my money instead.

It is funny that Stern's overseas market and more so Europe, Canada and Australia is 50% or more of Stern's total business, so increasing there prices will reducing their sales but I wouldn't be surprised if they are raising the price as they can afford to loose some sales as large profit margins probably equal that of smaller margins at more sales.

Then AMD raising the price on all their games including ones they already purchased at a lower price and ones in stock is just showing a new side to AMD as I think it is under new management.
