Are they throwing us off? I think so.

    #2 10 years ago

Please not another superhero pin. We are running out of characters. Unless they make a wonder woman one with a 70's style backglass if you know what i mean

    AHH ! Lynda Carter

Go for it Stern, I need a break from buying games.

Wake me up when they do Zombies or partner with Nintendo.

    #5 10 years ago

    Ahhh Yea-wouldn't that be super(:

    #6 10 years ago

there is a new superman movie due out.. but seriously we need another superhero pin?

    #7 10 years ago

Superman won't be a Stern pin anytime soon. Most of the Superhero themes lately seem to come from Marvel based characters.

    #8 10 years ago

People need a financial breather after AC/DC, Metallica, WOZ, Predator and Star Trek

    I'd buy "The Tick".

LOL Ted I was thinking the same thing. If they come out with Angry Birds or G.I. Joe-I have no worries

    #11 10 years ago

Don't get excited, it's not in the works.

    #12 10 years ago

I'd be happier if they finished the code for X-men first...

Heard a code update this week

    Keen!

    #15 10 years ago

Not sure how B/W missed out on this 90's gem.

    #16 10 years ago

If you believe that then you also believed their muppets tease a year or two ago.

Superman would be a stinker, sterns not that dumb...hopefully.

Thanks for the update mnpinball. Akumazeto thought last week, and you are hearing this week. I hope you both are getting good info and we get an update soon. Played again last night, and this game is close to being great IMO.

the tick would be awesome. Not widely known but I always thought locke & key would make an awesome pinball machine. Different modes for each key and horror themed without being generic like zombies/vampires

Past history indicates there is normally a summer release.... is there anything before ST in the fall?

    "The Pin"

    #21 10 years ago

Play the game "Injustice" on your mobile device or pad tablet. That story line would be killer for a pin.

Otherwise, I'll take a comic version of Green Lantern pin with neon green lights and recharge the ring at the battery.

I am still a believer that they will rework IM as Superman. I know it is a long shot, but I have been calling for it for 6 months at least.

No they aren't, nor or are they making a superman pin.

    #24 10 years ago

Count me in for the Tick machine.

    #25 10 years ago

well clearly, it's finally the seinfeld pinball I've been clammering for all my life.
    http://dan.hersam.com/2010/07/10/setting-the-superman-seinfeld-record-straight/

    "It's a pinball about nothing"
"I say, what's your pinball about? I say nothing!"
    "Exactly!"
"I think you may have something here"

Bummer, well at least that's another 6k saved. And I'm not buying MET; so that's like 12k saved!! Oh what to buy what to buy with my savings

    More pins?

Man of Steel meet Balls of Steel... Doesn't seem too far off.

I swore Spiderman would be the only superhero pin I ever owned, but this could change my mind!

This would be awesome!!!!!!!!! Please do this Stern!! Zod could come out of the playfiield.

    #31 10 years ago

superman pinball (not by stern, this is too awesome)
    "KNEEL BEFORE ZOD!"

    #32 10 years ago

    #33 10 years ago

That seems to make sense though. I'm sure the licenses are carried out differently with Marvel where the launch happens the same time or near the movies release. If Ritchie is on ST who would be the designer for this if it were true?

    mmmmmm.... Wonder Woman

a Superman pin based on the movie at least would not be that great i don't think. The movie appears much more a grown up drama type movie vs an action popcorn flick. I don't like pins without some element of humor.

They did Batman... Even though that was a few years ago, they definitely have a relationship with DC. I think the main reason there is a lack of DC pinball machines is the lack of good characters.

Had. Now they have one with Disney. Disney does not play well with others.

    #40 10 years ago

Well, Disney owns Hollywood Records but that didn't create a problem making AC/DC or Metallica pins. Don't see how they have any pull regarding Sterns outside licenses.

    That is a great design.

I would have preferred the right orbit to feed a ramp back to the right flipper, but the use of an auto plunge is very cool.

Love the hologram like video from the fortress of solitude.

Maybe Stern's next music pin is Bon Jovi.

    bonjovi.jpgbonjovi.jpg

    #44 10 years ago

I posted something similar before, but I think it it worthy of repeating.......
I think a pin featuring the DC characters (think Justice league), with art by Alex Ross could be huge.

Not just limited to one character, and not tied to a movie.....

Disney signs vendors and licensees to long term no compete contracts. Always has. I doubt they'll ever get near another DC title.

I don't get this. Who would Stern be competing with if they sold both Marvel and DC pins?
Stern is paying Disney/Marvel (or DC) for the license, not the other way around right?

    SPOON!

    #50 10 years ago

I've attached a picture of the Superman Pin! I'm sure it'll be the best Superhero game EVER! Even better than the AC/DC superhero pin!
