The other trough switches work fine, but the trough jam switch is always active and doesn't react to anything passing through the optos. I've tried reseating the optos and cleaning them but that didnt work.
Prior to this, I was occasionally getting games that would end prematurely. I'm thinking that was a precursor to whatever is happening now.

Sounds like its time for new trough optos, these fail often and are fairly cheap to replace.
