On the WPT game there are lights underneath the upper playfield. I have seen regular 44s in here but I have also seen ones with white caps on them. The one I am working on has blue #44 in them. Anyone know what bulb/color is supposed to be here?

Yes, it did, and they die faster than any other bulbs I've ever seen. I've replaced two of them with standard 44s, and there's already another one out. I'm actually starting to think that this is one of those rare instances where LEDs might be appropriate, since changing these things out is a *giant* PITA.

I put frosted LED 44's in mine.....will probably never burn out and give more light to the upper playfield.....which needs it.

Appreciate the post guys! I found that there were two blue ones in there. All of the bulbs were burnt out and the two blue ones....the paint was so faded on them they just showed a hint of blue. Thanks again!

I put in blue LEDs except the two end ones, which I put color changers in.
