I have found the Stern "Whoa Nellie" manual # 780-50D7-00 to be riddled with errors and omissions. Plus I have a few suggestions to include in it. Let's get started.

Problem: page 12, "Game Setup" is blank. This is where there should be "Adjustments Menu" and "Features Menu" there like other Stern machines do.

Omission: Page 41 Figure 5.14 Credit Reel Assembly. ADD: Stepper Motor 041-5105-00 or 511-5072-00. ADD: Credit Decal 820-8382-01.

Error/Omission: Page 42 ADD: #13 callout U bracket for plunger, spring, metal yoke, fiber yoke to drawing. CHANGE: Callout # 13 (metal yoke) TO callout # 20. CHANGE: Callout # 21 Locknut TO Callout # 12. ADD: Callout 18 TO drawing "Coil Bracket". CHANGE: Callout # 19 TO Callout # 21. ADD: TO parts list item # 2 part number 24-8813 Lamp Socket with Wire Leads. Make Notation: Item # 8 part number 500-9934-01 Pop Bumper Switch and Bracket Assembly is also available as switch only # 515-6459-03.

Suggestions: At end of manual ADD suggested 3 chime unit and 3 seperate bell units for users to install themselves: Gottlieb B-8672A Black 3" Bell use for 1 point. Gottlieb B-8671A Plated 3" Bell use for 10 points. Gottlieb B-9579 Plated 5" Gong Bell use for 100 points. Gottlieb B-12023 Chime Unit. I pointed these out to Stern and never did hear from them nor did they correct the manual.
