    I believe they're (or someone) is doing this on purpose. If you ping it then you do get a response and not seeing it time out.

    actually the 503 error comes down to:
    1. Website owners are performing maintenance procedures.
    2. HTTP server responsible for the website is misconfigured.
    3. Website is experiencing overcapacity situation
