They really have no reason to post production numbers. I know it is something many would like to know, but maybe it is adventagious for them as a business to not publicly state how many of what they are making.

Production numbers for many Williams games are unknown. There may have been a reason for this beyond lack of bookkeeping.

    Quoted from Captain_Kirk:

Not when Williams was a public company.

When did Williams become a public company?

    Quoted from vid1900:

[whispers]: Maybe they do not want to release the actual production numbers because they would owe more royalty money? Bwuhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

Royalties, taxes, who knows. If I was running a business I would put out as little info as possible about how much I was selling.

All these cheesy 80's licenses are awesome.

I hear there are more in the works.

Hook- A Treasure Chest O' Collections! Now who was it that said these aren't an investment?

I can never figure out why so many want a new Star Wars machine when they did it so right the first time.

    #154 8 years ago

I knew that was coming. Empire was the second installment and it was good.

    Quoted from bobukcat:

"First machine with single pivot playfield"???? I've never owned a DE / Sega game from that era, what are they referring to?

Twister doesn't have the traditional Stern/ Data East playfield slide out system. It has a hinge in the cabinet so the playfield can pivot into the uprite position easily. I thought it worked good compared to what GnR had which on a wide machine could not only damage the machine, but the user. And I know it did.
