Hello Guys
before a year ago I made a sculpted T-REX for stern Jurassic park.
I got many requests from people to make a new zombie sculpt for the walking dead game.
I took it as a challenge and I think the results are fantastic. my goal was not just to make it looks better it was to make it play better!
it was a super hard calculation task and many tests and many casts but we made it!

It improves gameplay as the target now detects lesser hits to the base!

The zombie is made from very flexible casted resin so no need to worry about hitting it with a ball. you also gets a warranty on the product!

The Zombie in these photos is the prototype the final model will be a little brighter and the head will be the same color of the body.

This is NOT 3D printed it's all made by hand and it’s a resin cast from a silicone mold

Installs in seconds. Easily removable. Matches the look of the game perfectly!
Fits Pro, Premium, and LE versions of the game.
including gory bloody wounds and detailed eyes!

Well done....I'm shocked the guy is trying to sell these for $425 ....

Thanks!
Im not shocked. Lior does great work!

Not much improvement you say?

Correctamundo. Actually a downgrade in my opinion. Original looks more like a zombie. New one is like a naked angry fat guy filled with spaghettiOs. I'm sure plenty of folks will find a reason to drop 400 bucks on it though.

Not for $400. Maybe if it was $50 some people might want one, but I would think at $400 it will be a tough sell. Not to mention, $400 is the "special price"

I had to go look at mine in person to see the diff'rence. It looks a little diff'tent but not better. I guess its silicone or resin though...so thats great if I sat around and rubbed it maybe?
Oh wait it's supposed to register small hits and last forever...which my OG is fine after thousands of plays.

#12 69 days ago

marginal improvement over OG I appreciate the effort; but instead work on a crowd of zombies coming out of the barn instead of one big head.

Not $400 worth of improvement. Sounds like u think so, which is great. I assume u forked over the $400?

I follow what Lior puts out, as often times it's for machine I might have. Don't have this one..yet.

Clearly the quality and detail of this sculpt is much higher than the OEM. For people to say it's marginal are probably letting the price skew their opinion.

After seeing the potc topper sell out in the first 15 minutes at $2500, I mean...is it really that surprising?

Go purchase a mass produced games workshop plastic mini and you'll pay $125 for a nice sized unpainted, unassembled, not for pinball, mini.

Shrug

I would not put one in my game for free. YMMV.

I have purchased his stuff in the past. I own a very nice TWD that has many incredible mods so I'm not immune to spending $ on stuff if I think it adds value. How do u not skew your opinion on a mod based on its price? When I first looked at the mod I thought it was a $100-$150 piece.....$400+ is a joke

Toppers are entirely different animal....by the way the original TWD Stern topper is worth well north of $2K...rumor has it the last one sold for $3k

#17 69 days ago

Nice effort but just not a fan of paying that much for another zombie with man boobs.

#18 69 days ago

To pay five ducats, five, I would not farm it.

Good idea....now that I might pay for

You can do this mod for about $30 or so yourself if so inclined. Really just the cost of the zombie figures and a little time. I have a replacement 3d "cart" designed that slides over the bracket and screws to it.. so you just have to position the zombies with glue and I put a custom piece of "bash" metal on mine.

^^^^^^^^ THIS.........Sorry dude, you make nice stuff but you're out of your mind on asking prices on every mod you have ever made.

#22 69 days ago

I have some of liors mods but yeah, this is way overpriced for what it is.

#23 69 days ago

I like almost all lior mods! Love this one to, it looks real and not plastic fantastic like the oem. But, oem is nice to.

#24 69 days ago

Hey. Thank you for the support and also thank you for the others opinions.
thats really ok! anyone can do and say what he thinks.
some people will love it and some will not

i understand its not cheap. i wish my cost was as before 2 years ago and i wish i could work on it for just 30 minutes and not for a months. there is a lot behind this product. its not 3d print its all made by hand with silicone mold and hours of painting and sculpting. im not trying to justify the price or to tell you guys all of my cost. you can appreciate it as you want. art cost money and time cost money. i can sell one for 100$ but it will never look like that and will never be in this quality.

to make it fair for you guys i want to be honest and kind.

i saw many posts from you who is not positive on many other threads too and i really want to fix it.
please send me your address. i will send you a free zombie or any of my mods for free.
get them and try to understand what they have behind them. its not just a piece of plastic and try to respect me and my art. its not that fun to see those comments because those pieces is a part of my passion and each one got many hours into it and each creation its like my kids.
i wish i can change your mind about my creations when you receive it

and again its really ok to give positive or negative feedback or downvotes or upvotes. we are in a open community and lets make it better!

Thank you for all of the support in any kind!

Careful I said one minor thing and got downvote bombed by lior, on a bunch of random posts in an old thread I just happened to check, no idea why as I barely said anything negative.

No thanks. I was serious when I said would not take the well walker for free, just don't like it. I would only resell it, which is unfair to you.

I thought your T-Rex looked great up close, but not really much different in the game, and not worth the cost. Since we're getting personal here, I also thought you were far too precious about keeping the installation video private.

Like most artists & mod creators here, you seem very sensitive. Just gotta get over it when you post something for public discussion. Keep doing the work and praise will come. No one bats a thousand.

#27 69 days ago

I like Lior mods, have many of them. Yes they are expensive but they are always top notch quality and well designed and painted. The T-Rex head is probably my favorite. I think this zombie is cool. I sold my TWD a couple months ago though

I almost bought his Trex head, and signs as well. I thought they both looked great, but for almost $700+shipping it seemed way over priced for the value I was getting.

I dared to say his godzilla popbumper was expensive and he even went so far as to write angry threats to me on my phone and have me banned for purchase of any of his items ever at littleshop of games…

and for what? I gave my opinion about the price. It’s this type of guy that will not accept any criticism and if you do he will mobilize his fanboys to silence you.

Lior plays now the charming card because now almost everybody is negative about this new product.

You see, he has all the right to ask whatever he wants for his products.
I admit, with 5000 usd toppers it is worth the try to squeeze more money out of it. hehe.

I’m not buying his stuff anymore, have fun downvoting all my posts.

That sucks...He's a very talented guy (yes thats a compliment), and if he wants to send me his JP mods for free I'll be happy to install. If I'm wrong about the value vs cost I'll be the first to admit it on PinSide.....I won't hold my breath

He’s likely put you on ignore (hopefully that’s not against the forum rules here as I am not stating I am ignoring anyone) I went to reach out to him when I realised he had gone looking for posts to downvote me until he must of got the downvote abuse warning and found out he had me ignored/blocked.

Still not a clue what it was I said that could have upset him, looking through my posts to try and work it out I said the whole LE thing he’s started to do is abit of a turn off personally, must have been that which hit a nerve.

Not the best way to handle things when your selling to the community at such premium high end prices.

#32 69 days ago

Its ok if I’m on ignore mode, I have some others on ignore myself aswell. It’s a good feature to keep the forum for me worth to visit: I don’t want to spend my time arguing with people and the same goes for them if they think I suck

Is this true Lior?

#34 69 days ago

Not one of Lior's best IMO, but he does have some great work.

The best well walker I've seen is the one my wife did for me years ago.

If you can't take criticism, you'll never improve. Just because you're "passionate" does not make you "right."

Would not have posted it if it wasn’t.

But Lior has reached out to me and states his account was hacked, loads of downvotes dished out from his account and all his followers are blocked.

Regardless of what’s happened he offered me a first class apology and that has to be respected.

#39 69 days ago

Why do people love to tear others down just because they can? I seriously don't understand some of the stuff posted on on Pinside.

Here's an easy concept folks... be more positive and/or keep your negative comments to yourself. Pinside (and the world) would be a much happier place for it.

I believe we can all agree we are in a hobby where everything is currently way overpriced. You have countless machines selling north of $15K, and everything across the board has seen or will see a price hike. Do I think a topper is worth $2500 or that JJP#7 CE should be $15K? Not really, but then again not a lot has made sense in this hobby over the past 2 years (and likely before my time here).

All I know is everyone I have spoken wither about a machine, bought a machine from and/or sold a machine to has been an amazing edition to the community here. That's what I look forward to because pinball is a hobby, and it is supposed to be fun at the end of the day.

Lior and his team are beyond talented artists. The guy is free to charge what he pleases, and the consumer is free to either buy or not buy what he is selling. How bout we leave the bashing about his rendition of art and prices at the door?

PS - I'm not condoning any negative actions on his part either.

#40 69 days ago

Tact and diplomacy, two things the world could use more of. It is often lacking on the internet. To be honest though, for the most part I didn't think the feedback on this thread lacked a whole lot of tact or diplomacy. There were some comments that wouldn't have landed well with me personally, like telling me you think my pricing is a joke or that I'm out of my mind on my pricing.

I mean, I get it, you don't see the value, no problem, but you make it personal when you call it a joke or tell me I'm out of mind. I can try and defend my pricing strategy to you, but why bother, you don't see the value, no problem. It's now on me to live with the people who do find value in my work or adjust my pricing. Pretty simple. Why be mean about it? I don't get that. I do have notoriously thin skin though and I'm not even an artist!

He responded to me in a very similar fashion so I have no doubt its true. At the time he also offered to send me a free mod (like he did above) of my choice, which of course he never did (which is fine)...nice that he apologized to u

Well I'm gladly eating crow. Lior actually sent me a Trex and signs to try in my Stern JP. I will happily admit that the quality is pretty incredible, and I instantly tell the attention to detail. Specifically the Trex head was on a completely different level than the stock Stern POS. The material and workmanship really are second to none. What I found interesting was he used some sort of flexible cast material on the head, which makes installation much easier. Its a bit of a process to install, but the instructional video provided were very well done and easy to follow. Once finished I powered the game on and the Trex worked flawlessly.

Well done Lior

meh, still not worth the asking price for the walking dead well walker...

Lior posting here as I once again cannot reply to you, has your account been hacked again? Was trying to reply to your apology for your reaction previously to downvote bombing and blocking me previously with the offer of a good will mod, which was very kind of you.

Went to reply this morning and say that it is kind of you but not necessary, instead I would like to work on a mod with you and I’m now on ignore?

Not sure if you have been hacked again like you claimed previously or you are overly sensitive and trying to alienate your customer base, either way mate it’s not the way to run a business here when your charging so much these days.
