My dogs always hated when a knocker went off...they would come in the room to see if I was OK, haha... after that I always turn them off. No point in getting a match or replay award at home anyway.
On location play it would probably be better these days to just say 'You won a Free Game!'... a random person these days would hear a knock and be scared like my dogs and have no idea what it meant.
