As a dealer over the years I would say 70% of the new pins in box needs tweaking. I still do not believe 100% of these pins get real testing with balls in play. Has anyone lately from Stern have any response. Today I adjusted a GB, looked like no real balls used for QC.

I would guess hand testing switches and running coil test to avoid dimpling people would complain about once they opened it

The GB had the balls stuck on the left side. Could not make it through the up post. Metal rail wall had to be tweaked back. I used paper (not to scratch) & needle nose pliers to pull back. Playfield looked like no ball testing (pristine but dirty balls).

Uhh. You didn’t pull the captive balls out did you?

Yes just to fix what was not done at Stern. Balls were put back. Screws were hard to put back into metal side rail for the plastics. Game is out on location.

I just picked up a star wars pro with a build date of 2/21/19 and i could see a few faint ball dimples...
