I hope it's just another reissued pile of crap with a higher price tag.
    Screw anything new.

    Quoted from pantherpinball:

Dang it! It's a band title... Europe and 'The Final Countdown'

Rumor has it that Modfather is already working on a Geico microwave mod.

I know its a Gottlieb... but maybe its just.. Count-Down VE

Watch this be something about their partnership with Farsight Studios.

I wouldn't be surprised if they have that or a demo of it playable at their CES booth this week. Now that you mention it, I kind of expect it.

Sadly, there are not any artists alive who can do that kind of beautiful illustration.

Are you joking? Because that's not even slightly true.

There are many, they just don't work for Stern.

I expected this to be the teaser photo...

Now This looks like a teaser! Has this image popped up on Pinside before? Spidey's hands on the ramps are definitely different from the 2007 version, and the likeness removed from Sandman.

We have a SM, but it'll be neat to see the rumored redone art package!

    #111 3 years ago
    Quoted from gawcol:

I guess it's just a printscreen of a phone app

Obviously a hint that they're rushing to beat JJP/Lawlor into the lucrative telephone-themed market segment.

I predict big disappointment when there is.

    #115 3 years ago

Is there really a great demand to re-release sm. I still don't believe it. I still believe that's a story that was planted by stern. In fact I was at the movies the other day and there was a trailer for superman vs batman movie. Why is Spider-Man relevant?

1 Scheduled post for 5:00pm. So SOMETHING will be posted. May or may not be big news.

Maybe they're releasing more bobbleheads, statuettes, or a topper for GOT?

    #118 3 years ago

it's a picture of a picture of an alarm clock when digital was the new thing

    #119 3 years ago

This is just a replay of the letdown of WWE from last year for me. I have low expectations.

Show me a living artist doing original art even close to the style and abilities of Gordon Morison.

He was a machine, churning out 100s of pinball art packages.

His grasp of motion, composition, spacial relations and of course, the female form, is without equal.

    Quoted from yuriijos:

That is a LCD display in the picture so I think they are revealing a new display in a new machine.

you can see the unlit segments. that means it's not an lcd unless it already has massive burn-in

    a solid and safe play

...and he "borrowed" from the best! Wally Wood, Steranko, etc...

I love Wally Wood, but he did not have the sense of space and motion that Gordon Morison had.

    #127 3 years ago

Oh, I don't know. Centigrade 37 is almost a direct copy of a Wally Wood comic page. (I posted the two somewhere on here)

    Kate is great.

She is. I just finished working on a show with her and Edie Falco.

"You can purchase the new Spider-Man pinball machine for a suggested retail price of $7,595 at an authorized Stern distributor"

looks cool, have to see the rest.... I kind of wish the Marvel logo didn't have to be also right above the spider-man text and fairly large.

Premium pricepoint kills it for me. Looks like I'm getting st pro. Or maybe got pro. The suspense was kinda fun, maybe better luck next time. Congrats to those who wanted this.

    #144 3 years ago

Edit: Someone beat me to posting the quote.

That price point is awful. No thank you.

    #145 3 years ago

    Okay, Jack. Your turn.

    Pat's machine, please?

    #146 3 years ago

That's sweet. I would hand my money over if priced as a pro, but too much $$ for my blood.

Edit: And sandman definitely is - so I'd guess Doc is as well.
